OSAMA BIN LADEN TO PAY TRIBUTE TO RONALD REAGAN IN NEWEST VIDEO

October 14 2008

Doha, Qatar – Arabic language news channel Al Jazeera has reported that the latest video from Osama bin Laden will pay tribute to surprising person, as well as proclaim the terrorist leaders hopes for the U.S. presidential election. The new video, which is due to be released before the November 4 election, will pay a touching tribute to former United States President Ronald Reagan.ronald reagan cowboy

“Bin Laden sees Reagan not only as a kindred spirit but also as a benefactor. He has been a great admirer of the former President since their dealings in the 1980’s,” said a spokesperson for the network who was able to catch a sneak peek of the video. “Aside from the financing of the Mujahideen and the promotion of the Iran/Iraq war, Reagan also gave political credibility to George Bush senior, and by consequence the current President Bush, who has been of course a goldmine for him and his organization. There’s very real evidence to suggest that without Reagan, the success that he has enjoyed over the last seven years would never have happened.”

The spokesperson also stated that the video was one of the most sophisticated that they had yet seen from the organization with fade ins, montages, and soft music overlay, suggesting that not only is Al Qaeda far from destruction, but has actually increased its capabilities in some areas, notably in video production.
“Whoever is cutting those videos is doing a great job. I imagine they are going to have a field day when Premiere CS4 comes out. They really are at the bleeding edge of propaganda videos which have really lost a lot since the days of Leni Riefenstahl,” continued the spokesperson. “It really is a touching piece that I think will please the Reagan family and Americans alike.”         alljazeera logo

As for his support in the Presidential campaign? It appears that bin Laden is supporting Democratic candidate Barack Obama.

“I know that bin Laden is a bit of an ego guy and having someone in the White House with a vaguely similar name has got to be a little bit of an ego boost for him,” said Scrape TV Middle East analyst David Gershwin. “My guess though is that it’s a bit of guilt by association. If he supports Obama, the crazies in the U.S. will conclude that Obama supports terrorism, which will push them to vote Republican. The reality is bin Laden and his cronies have done much better under a Republican government than they have under a Democratic one. They had a handful of hits under Clinton, but nothing like they did with Reagan or the Bushes. He also sees himself as a bit of a maverick so one can only assume that he has some kind of kinship with McCain, just as McCain does with Reagan. The man may be a psychotic terrorist, but he isn’t stupid.”

“I’m very interested to see the Reagan tribute and what the reaction of the American people will be,” continued Gershwin. “Bin Laden is also running a bit of a risk with his constituency, but of course those people don’t really have an option like Americans do. There just aren’t that many psychotic millionaires in leadership positions amongst terrorists; that’s usually reserved for legitimate western governments, not slipshod groups like Al Qaeda. Maybe they can recruit an American. I mean someone is going to lose this election.”
