CDC CONFIRMS THAT ZOMBIE OUTBREAKS A SERIOUS THREAT TO THE COUNTRY

Atlanta, GA – For centuries the end of the world has been something that people have not only predicted, but almost lusted after. Whether it is a part of religious prophecy the musings of artists, the end of everything has been a compelling and 
engaging tale. Of course, the apocalypse has not yet come despite countless predictions and assurances to the contrary and there is no evidence that such an eventuality will ever occur, though that hasn’t stopped people from getting ready.
Whether it is the aftermath of a nuclear apocalypse, the effects of a mass infection, or the rising up of souls in a religious rapture, the methods of destruction are varied, making preparation extremely difficult. That has prompted at least one organization, the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, to issues warnings for every potential version of the end of times, even those most assumed would be limited solely to fiction. In particular, the CDC has issued a series on preparing for a Zombie apocalypse, should the dead at some point rise from their graves to feast on the flesh of the living. While such an eventuality may seem unlikely and even irrational, the call for preparation by the CDC has prompted concern that not only is it possible, but that the zombie uprising may be likely.
“There are all kinds of emergencies out there that we can prepare for. Take a zombie apocalypse for example. That's right, I said z-o-m-b-i-e a-p-o-c-a-l-y-p-s-e. You may laugh now, but when it happens you'll be happy you read this, and hey, maybe you'll 
even learn a thing or two about how to prepare for a real emergency,” the CDC posted on their official site.” First of all, you should have an emergency kit in your house. This includes things like water, food, and other supplies to get you through the first couple of days before you can locate a zombie-free refugee camp. Once you've made your emergency kit, you should sit down with your family and come up with an emergency plan. This includes where you would go and who you would call if zombies started appearing outside your doorstep.”
The organization mad no predictions on where or when the zombie outbreak may strike first.
“Eventually, the world will come to an end. That is an absolute assurance. The world will eventually be consumed by the sun and be destroyed and all life on it will be wiped away. This will happen, no question about it whatsoever,” said Scrape TV Apocalypse analyst Seth Morris. “It is entirely possible that some destruction will befall humankind before then, but that is something we will have to wait and see about. There are many possibilities of course as to what type of end will come about, but some are a little more realistic than others, ones that we actually have to work to prevent rather than simply hope don’t happen.”
It’s not clear if any potential zombie outbreak would be the result of disease, radiation, or some supernatural event.
“While at first glance it would seem unlikely that zombies would take over the world, largely from a practical standpoint, it is something which should be prepared for, just in case. One cannot be too careful even if the end is inevitable,” continued Morris. “Luckily we have organizations like this looking out for our best interests. Hopefully though the advice doesn’t fall on deaf or bored ears, because that’s exactly what it would be required to allow the flesh eaters to take over.”
The CDC has asked the public to contact them directly at 800-CDC-INFO should any zombies be spotted.
