EXPERTS RECOMMEND HOARDING AS WORLD FOOD SUPPLIES BECOME SCARCE
December 15 2010
Canberra, Australia – There have never been any promises in the world and never really will be in regards to the continuing success of the human species. We have no doubt had a great run, remarkable in both the scale of our achievements and in the

short time in which we have accomplished those things. However, as we have seen in the history of our planet, past success is no guarantee of future success and as we continue to grow our own good fortune could very well end up being the source of our demise.
Whether it is air pollution or dwindling water supplies, human beings are very rapidly reaching the saturation point in our use of the planet’s resources. Amidst all the concerns about climate change and possible wars is a greater potential disaster, looming in the shadows, a crisis that could forever change the course of humanity. In short, the world is running out of food and as our population continues to increase the demands on those dwindling supplies is going to become even more extreme, events that will likely lead to mass death, political upheaval, and ultimately war. The shortage however does not necessarily mean the end of the species, particularly if proactive efforts are made to hoard food in order to keep at least pockets of humanity alive and well.
“The world has ignored the ominous constellation of factors that now make feeding
humanity sustainably our most pressing task - even in times of economic and climatic crisis. It is arriving even faster than climate change. If through our neglect or abuse of resources it fails, each of us will bear the consequences,” said Professor Julian Cribb, author of ‘The Coming Famine: The Global Food Crisis and What We Can Do to Avoid It’. “These issues will bring about things other than simple starvation. War and strife will inevitably walk alongside this crisis and could lead to greater disasters including, possibly, nuclear war.”
Cribb recommends sharing food amongst all nations of the world, though some have different ideas.
“The most important thing is to protect and stabilize the more powerful nations of the world. The countries with large economies, large militaries, and nuclear weapons and
power generation facilities have to be the primary concerns and these countries are the ones that need the most protection. Obviously we don’t want people to suffer, but we are talking about the survival of the human race here,” said Drake Wedworth of DRAPA. “Ideally these powerful nations should be doing the opposite of sharing. Feeding poor nations will only result in higher birth rates and cause even more strain on the system and so starvation is a viable alternative. Nature created starvation for a reason and that is to reduce certain populations. Humanity is growing larger than we can support and that needs to change and by slicing off a few billion we will have more food for the survivors. Whether in underground bunkers or high end freezers, it’s important for wealthy nations to start hoarding now before it’s too late.”
Too late is generally considered about 2050.
“Food is a major issue and one that world leaders are fully aware of but unfortunately there are limits to what can done. Arable land is scarce and increases in production of foods like meat will result in even more climate issues and that may result in us having no choice but to reduce the number of mouths we have to feed,” said Scrape TV International analyst Gustav Hander. “True, people in the west could start eating less and share that leftover with the rest of the world but that isn’t likely to happen anytime soon and leaves us with few options. The survival of the species is at stake here and that’s just the plain, simple reality of the situation.”
Its likely countries with the most to spare, namely China and India, will be asked to sacrifice first.
