GIANT WOMAN UNDERGOING RADIATION THERAPY IN EFFORT TO BECOME UNSTOPPABLE BEAST

Las Vegas, NV – Throughout history giants have always been associated with malevolence and evil. Perhaps stemming from one of our oldest stories, the story of David and Goliath, virtually all of the monsters of our creation have either been giants
of some capacity. Both through verbal tradition and through artistic creations, our monsters have always been larger than life, stalking us, hunting us, and seeking our destruction, generally by their massive hands and jaws.
Of course, like most monsters, true giants simply don’t exist. While human beings certainly vary dramatically in height, nothing like the monsters of fiction have ever appeared on our planet. Extremes though still do draw a great deal of unwanted, and wanted, attention to those afflicted. That reality has unfortunately been the case for Tanya Angus who at 6’11” and 400 pounds is well on her way to being one of the tallest people to ever live. That is particularly true because despite the best efforts of her doctors, including three brain surgeries, Angus continues to grow with no end in sight. While cases of gigantism are not unheard of, the inability of doctors to halt the progress in the Nevada woman has everyone grasping at straws, the latest of which is a radical radiation therapy that many predict will turn her into a real life monster.
“I live every day in pain that’s excruciating. Every time I went through a brain surgery somethings went wrong. I’m thankful that he’s there and he’s gonna look, you know, at my case but what is he going to say?” said Angus, 31, from her Nevada home. “It's very scary. I used to have nightmares about being as tall as the Eiffel Tower, and people were scared of me, and they were pointing up at me, saying 'Look, it's a he-she.' I felt like I was Bigfoot, and that's what people would call me. ... I was like, 'People think I'm a monster.”
Angus has suffered multiple broken bones and her spine has collapsed as a result of the gigantism, known medically as acromegaly. It is 
not believed that the radiation therapy will make her as large as the Eiffel tower, though possibly powerful enough to destroy it.
“This is really a damaging and destructive disease that is often misconstrued. It is not simply that people grow larger than normal and start to collapse in on themselves. They also suffer from enlarged hearts, hypertension, and diabetes and that severely shortens the lives of many people with this ailment,” said Scrape TV Medical analyst Dr. Phillip Waites. “There are of course great emotional and mental incapacities that this disease can create. These people are put on the periphery of society and that can cause great psychological damage, which of course can make them quite dangerous. The history of monsters and madmen show a similar pattern of normal people put through incredible trials and coming out the other end with a cynical world view, which they then take out on the rest of the world.”
At the age of 18, Angus stood a tall but still normal 5’8” and weighed 120 pounds before growing freakishly large.
“We have always been safe from the anger and rage that these people house because they are so burdened by their pain and struggles. However if one of them were to become free of that burden, then they could very well be unstoppable and a threat to us all,” continued Waites. “Powered with radiation it’s entirely possible that this woman will become the monster that we have always feared. Frankly, this doctor, this madman, should be stopped before he unleashes this beast upon us. This is the real world, there are no superheroes to fight the monster. We need to stop her now before she becomes too powerful.”
Angus will be treated in a secret facility somewhere in San Francisco in the coming weeks.
