JENNY MCCARTHY’S SON SUDDENLY FREE OF AUTISM, MOTHER STILL RETARDED

Los Angeles, CA – Despite our incredible advances over the last hundred years or so, there are still many mysteries of the human animal that evade our best scientists. Whether it’s the malignancy of cancer, or the durability of the common cold, there are
so many menaces to our health and well being that it might be we will never truly understand them all. We are trying though, and recent breakthroughs have given us greater insight into the complexity of the human animal than ever before, allowing us to understand once mysterious processes.
One mysterious component of the human animal above all others continues to be a mystery to researchers, and it is, ironically, the very tool they are using to understand. The human brain is truly a marvel of biological engineering. Not only is it capable of data processing with incredible speed and accuracy, it serves as a reservoir to the past, it has the ability to create art, and that most mysterious of all aspects of human beings, our soul. Because of that complexity it is perhaps not surprising that the brain remains such a mystery, and likely will for a long time to come. One of the greatest mysteries of the brain, one that has only really come to 
light in the last few decades, is autism. For a time, actress and Playboy model Jenny McCarthy felt she had the answers to that ailment, but with news that her son never really suffered from the disease, it appears now as though she was wrong all along and just slightly retarded herself.
“Evan couldn’t talk — now he talks. Evan couldn’t make eye contact — now he makes eye contact. Evan was anti-social — now he makes friends. It was amazing to watch … when something didn’t work for Evan, I didn’t stop. I stopped that treatment, but I didn’t stop,” said McCarthy of her son Evan. “I will still however be the voice of autism but will no longer associate or speak out on the role of vaccinations and how they may play a role in the progression of the disease.”
Despite absolutely no medical training, McCarthy has for years railed against vaccinations as the cause for autism, which it now appears her son never had. Medical scientists have found no link and advised against such action in an effort to prevent childhood disease. McCarthy however read something about it somewhere.
“The power of celebrity can be a great tool for change. Celebrities do great things for, say, raising funds or advocating a political candidate. They shouldn’t however start giving medical advice no matter how many books or websites they have read. Ultimately, medicine should be left up to doctors,” said Scrape TV Medical analyst Dr. Phillip Waites. “Luckily McCarthy isn’t really much a celebrity so the damage is minimal but it really does speak to the issue of self-diagnosis. If this had been Angelina Jolie for example, I’m sure vaccinations would be all but over and parents all across the country would be hacking their children’s limbs off. This is very dangerous activity.”
It’s not clear why McCarthy has backed off from her assertions about the cause of the disease simply because she is not affected by it any longer.
“I think, as a medical professional, that McCarthy herself could benefit from some analysis. I mean many, many, many jokes have been made about her intelligence in the past but it could very well be that that humour is based in some reality and that should be investigated,” continued Waites. “An analysis without diagnosis would be improper, but just from observing her behaviour over the last few years in particular, I can say with confidence that it’s likely she is mildly retarded. She’s high functioning to be sure, but there’s something just not quite right about her.”
McCarthy responded to interview requests with an offer of chocolate chip cookies.
