MAN WHO COULD BEAT AIDS BEING EYED BY SHADY GOVERNMENT AGENCY

Chappaqua, New York – Ever since the emergence of HIV and AIDS into the public realm the battle to defeat the disease has been on the forefront of medical science. Perhaps because of prominence on the disease in a minority community, perhaps
because of the interest of celebrities, perhaps because the disease strikes through one of the most basic of human needs, the fight against HIV has become one of the most prominent and popular of all medical pursuits.
Many advances have of course been made. Treatments such as protease inhibitors have helped reduce the disease from a death sentence to a manageable, chronic ailment in much of the western world. Treatment though remains expensive and for those unable to afford such medications, particularly those in third world nations, the disease remains an omnipresent threat. Because of that medical science is still working towards a cure for the ailment which currently infects more than thirty million people across the world and kills at least two million a year. At the bleeding edge of that research is American researcher Dr. David Ho, one of the leading scientists studying the disease and the man many believe will eventually find a cure for the virus, something to which the shady organizations that reportedly helped to manufacture the disease are paying very close attention.
“Ho has been one of the celebrities in the fight against the disease. He helped to pioneer the use of protease inhibitors, helped to create the drug cocktails that help so many people and is currently at work on a vaccine for the disease. All of that makes him a very real threat to our cause and we will be watching him,” said a member of a shady government organization who preferred to remain anonymous.”He can play around all he wants and save the lives of people in western countries. That’s fine, but if he makes moves towards actually eradicating the disease in people who have no other defence then we will have to act. We have spent a lot of time developing and distributing this disease and we won’t have it undone by some self-important scientist.”
Sub-Saharan Africa, long believed to be the target of the disease, is the area of the world most affected by the disease with many countries on the verge of collapse partially as a result of its effects.
“Since 1981 AIDS has killed more than 25 million people which makes it one of the most effective diseases in the history of humanity. It’s been a slow burn, but its endurance has been remarkable. It’s really nothing compared to diseases like small pox in terms of sheer numbers, but the widespread and enduring menace creates the type of irrational fear that can undone societies,” said Scrape TV Medical analyst Dr. Phillip Waites. “There is no strong evidence that HIV and AIDS are anything but a naturally occurring virus but if the conspiracy theorists are to be believed it is one of the most effective biological weapons ever and I’m sure the people who engineered that would be hesitant to allow a cure."
Some theories postulate the HIV is a weapon dispersed by the Soviet Union, possibly an engineered virus mistakenly released from a lab, or that it was a tool to eliminate black and gay people. That latter idea has been the most popular.
“I mean there’s really no reason to believe these conspiracy people but if you do, then you can start to understand the threat to Dr. Ho and his colleagues if they continue to pursue a cure. No one would want to see their life’s work undone by anyone,” continued Waites. “Ho should really be looking over his shoulder just in case these conspiracy theories turn out to be true. He should watch when he leaves buildings, check underneath his car before he starts it, and prepare his own food just in case. It might also be a smart idea to leave his wife and family so that they can’t be used against him.”
Ho is apparently still alive at the moment.
