STUDY SHOWS THE FEMALE ORGASM ALL IN THE MIND, LIKE JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING ELSE

Groningen, The Netherlands – Sexual pleasure has long been one of the great medical mysteries of the human animal. Like many things about us, our sexual responses are totally unique in the animal kingdom. For humans, unlike all other
species on the planet, the primary reason for sex is pleasure not reproduction, the exact opposite of every other animal in the world. That unique aspect to human physiology has fundamentally altered our species, creating things like marriage and STDs, and just about everything in between, things that have helped create us as a species.
However, despite it being just about the most important part of most people’s lives, sex has remained very much a mystery to science. Questions about why it is so different with humans and the actual mechanics of how it works inside us are just now starting to be answered, and now researchers in The Netherlands believe they may have an answer to one of the biggest mysteries of all time, the female orgasm. The study, which monitored woman at the moment of climax, showed distinct neurological and chemical changes, indicating that the female orgasm is all in a woman’s mind, similar to just about everything else most women think about their relationships.
“I don't think orgasm turns off consciousness but it changes it. When you ask people how they perceive their orgasm, they describe a feeling of a loss of control. I'm not sure if this altered state is necessary to achieve more pleasure or is just some side effect,” lead researcher Janniko Georgiadis told New Scientist. “This gives us a great deal of insight as to the nature and function of the orgasm and why some women are able to experience it readily and others not at all. It becomes clear with this data that it is the partner and the related mental state that aids in climax because for women it is in the mind.”
Similar research into the male orgasm concluded that little more than a brisk wind was required.
“This is certainly interesting but not totally revelatory data. It confirms a long held belief, something which most people assumed as fact for, well for a very long time. Really all this does is confirm that much of what goes on between men and women is in the mind of the women and really only requires a small amount of stimulation from the outside world,” said Scrape TV Science analyst Dr. Howard Poe. “This really doesn’t reveal anything that I don’t think people already assumed, well men anyway. It’s likely of course that
most women will dispute these findings for obvious reasons but really, you couldn’t expect anything less. It is demonstrable evidence, it is empirical fact, and so of course most women aren’t going to buy into it, particularly because it was a man who did the research.”
No female researchers engaged in the study.
“There isn’t a man in the world who is surprised by these findings to be honest. It’s just confirmation of what we have really known all along, which is good I guess but of course no one is really going to listen. Men already know and women, well they are still women after all,” continued Poe. “If they can only find a reason why women get so mad about hockey games or clothing choices, well then we’d really have something. Of course it probably wouldn’t make much a difference, realistically.”
No women who were shown the data were willing to comment or even listen.
