CONSERVATIVE PARTY VOLUNTEERS TO HELP MINORITIES VOTE

October 27 2010

Washington, D.C. – No political system that we have ever created is perfect, and it is likely none that we create in the future will ever reach that level. While governments and the voting system have certainly improved in the last few hundred years, voter fraud
particularly in the west, there are still loopholes and failures that result in fraud and the disenfranchising of certain individuals. Nonetheless, government is the principle organizing structure of modern society and even with all its faults is absolutely necessary in order for us to live our lives in peace.

There is perhaps no country in the world where the electoral process is more closely scrutinized, and criticised, than in the United States which is, like it or not, the home of more engaged and educated voters than anywhere else in the world. With the largest population of all true democratic nations, the U.S. elections are a cause for exploration of the entire process and a lesson for every other country in the world, both in her successes and in her failures. With midterm elections now upon the country inevitably the questions and troubles begin with politics and concerns about the electoral process at the forefront. Now members of the Conservative party, including high profile blogger Michele Malkin, have provided a new solution to many of the problems plaguing the country by offering to help minorities make it to polling centres and where needed help with ticking the ballots.gop elephant

“The hard, hard reality of our country is that it is made up of a lot of different people from a lot of different countries and of a wide variety of economic success. All people need to be engaged in this process regardless of their station in life and we want to ensure that they are,” said a GOP spokesperson. “That is why we have started on this outreach program which will put feet on the ground, bringing people to polling stations and guiding them through the process, things like reading candidate’s names and helping people mark the right candidate.”

Though there has been much infrastructure improvement since the fiasco in 2000, each election since has shown weaknesses in the system.michele malkin

“We can no longer accept the notion that people are sitting at home on election night simply because they don’t have transportation to their station or that they have trouble reading the ballots. This new program will allow all people in the United States to vote for their favourite party and candidate,” continued the spokesperson. “The focus of the program will be in urban centres where we feel the bulk of disenfranchised voters reside. We have already been canvassing these areas letting people know that on election night our representatives will be there for them in whatever capacity they desire, something the other party simply has chosen not to do. It is the position of the Republican Party that all Americans should vote, and we are going to help them do just that.”

Cause célèbre Malkin was apparently one of the principle advocates of the program.election volunteers

“The reality of the American political system is that many people simply do not vote. While that is true throughout the world, in the U.S. it is particularly true, partially because of the size of the voting populace. There simply aren’t enough people to give intimate advice and engage people personally,” said Scrape TV Political analyst Gabriel Kinsey. “That results in a lot of people simply not having a voice, some of which was addressed in the last election, but there are still a great number of people who for a variety of reasons simply do not get behind the process. I don’t know the numbers of those people who are actually minorities, but presumably the GOP does. They tend to keep that kind of data.”

The elections go forward on November 2.
