OBAMA GETS PAYBACK IN BASKETBALL GAME WITH DAUGHTERS

November 29 2010

Washington, D.C. – It perhaps makes perfect sense that someone who would seek on office like the President of the United States would be as competitive in all fields of play. Whether in love, in business, or in sport the kind of competitiveness that makes obama playing basketba;;
a person strive to achieve the highest office in the world would understandably relate to virtually all other aspects of life. For Barack Obama, that competitiveness often manifests itself on the hardwood.

That spirit was on full display last week when Obama engaged in pickup game with family and friends. While playing, Obama was accidentally elbowed in the chin by a fellow player, opening a wound that required a dozen stitches. While such an accident would hardly seem newsworthy, because it happened to the most powerful man in the world those stitches became perhaps the most famous in history. Obama though appears to be okay, albeit with perhaps a bit of a bruised ego. That however doesn’t seem to have lasted for long as only yesterday, two days after his accident, Obama was back on the court for a game. This time the competition was a little less fierce – his daughters – and brought the President the victory and accompanying confidence he lost with that one errant elbow.obama basketball injury

“The President is happy and healthy. His incident last week really was a minor thing and he will be healed in a few days. He admits to having had his ego bruised, just a little bit, but that is just the competitive nature of the sport and of the President himself. All those things heal in time,” said a spokesperson for the White House. “The game on Sunday turned out a little different. There weren’t as many players and fewer flying elbows. Obviously, Malia and Sasha are a little shorter and so their arms don’t reach quite as high as some other people. The President did very well and won the game with the girls in pretty decisive fashion.”

Sasha reportedly fouled her father twice, resulting in free points for the President.malia sasha and barack obama

“There are always going to be certain restriction on the President whether he likes it or not. The simple fact of the matter is he is the most powerful man on the planet and as such he has responsibilities, responsibilities that simply cannot be ignored because he wants to have a little fun. That said, in a controlled environment such activities are reasonable and acceptable,” said Scrape TV Political analyst Gabriel Kinsey. “However when it comes to competition it’s important to be cautious. This isn’t like letting your boss win a round of golf, any potential failures or losses could be perceived detrimentally by the enemies of the country and could be used against the President and the West in general to further their cause. I’m sure certain parties relished his injury, and even more would have done so if he had lost to his daughters.”obama happy

Malia is twelve and Sasha is nine.

“These series of events certainly don’t mean that Obama should stop playing competitive sports but perhaps he should be using a little more of his Presidential power in this area than he does in office. I mean if he wants to win, he can win even if he were playing against Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant. I mean he is the President,” continued Kinsey. “The President needs to show the world that he as representative of the United States will take on all comers, regardless of size, age, or disposition. He needs to let them know that not only will he take them on, but that he will do whatever it takes to win regardless of who they are, just as he did with the girls.”

Malia reportedly suffered a strained ankle in the game though it’s not clear if her father had anything to do with that.
