REPUBLICANS BELIEVE THAT OBAMA MAY BE THE ANTICHRIST
March 26 2010
Washington, D.C. – The rise of Christianity has been, beyond a doubt, the greatest cultural phenomenon in the history of the human species. Rising from the slums of Jerusalem, filled with folk tales and mysticism from dozens of different cultures, the

religion would eventually spread through the Middle East, into Europe, and from there around the world. Inspiring everything from war to the founding of nations, the religion has helped shape the modern world in ways no other individual practice has done.
Despite that influence, or perhaps because of it, the religion has had its ups and downs. Whether marauding through the Middle East during the Crusades, the social repression of the Spanish Inquisition, or the modern-day sex abuse scandals, the greatest religion that man has yet created has had issues. One of the biggest issues facing the religion, an issue that has faced all organized faith since it began, has been the co-opting of belief by parties not interested in furthering the needs of the people or the religion, but furthering their own desires. That behaviour is exactly what has been dogging politicians in the United States for years, particularly those leaning towards the right. Since the Reagan Revolution in the 1980’s the belief that Republicans are

manipulating belief for political gain has become commonly accepted as fact, making true acts, such as the investigation of President Obama as possibly being the Antichrist, even more difficult.
According to a new poll by the Harris group, 24 per cent of American Republicans believe that Obama is in fact the Antichrist, the biblical adversary of Christ whose coming precedes the destruction of Earth and the beginning of the Rapture. Of course with many people already doubting the honesty of many of their elected officials, and even more concerned that the simple political embarrassment or ouster of a minion from Hell would do little to change destiny, the case is a very difficult one for the party to make which is currently reeling from their healthcare defeat, and becoming more and more concerned about elections in November.
“The coming of the Antichrist is most certainly one of the sign of the Apocalypse. It is said that when he comes he will be very similar in appearance to Christ, he will perform actions that the public will adore him for, and will ultimately be placed on a pedestal. From there he will act on Satan’s behalf, ruing man’s kingdom and bringing about the end of everything we know,” said Scrape TV Religion analyst Bertram Gas. “Amongst Evangelicals in particular this belief is fundamental to their system of understanding the way God works. The rise of the Antichrist is actually something to be celebrated, both feared, because while it will create turmoil on Earth, it will also bring a faster ascendency to Heaven and a purging of those whose souls are not truly pure, something politicians would obviously be concerned about.”
It’s widely believed that if decisions about the ultimate fate of the soul were based exclusively on merit 90 per cent of politicians would be cast into Hell.
“It is very unlikely that Obama is the Antichrist for a whole host of reasons. He does not look like Christ, for one and he is controversial, not widely accepted. That said, it is possible. The real question would be that if he is this demon, this spawn of Satan sent to Earth to destroy humanity and battle with God Himself, what do politicians from Mississippi think they are going to do about it,” continued Gas. “This the ultimate epic battle to end all battles. Filibusters and pork barrel proposals aren’t going to undo him. He would simply brush it away. One has to wonder if maybe, just maybe, they are saying this for less than honest reasons. Of course if they are right, then they can start being honest for once because the elections really aren’t going to matter.”
Reports that Obama and his advisors recently met with the Devil at the White House are apparently untrue.
