SARAH PALIN CONSIDERING RUN FOR PRESIDENT OF TWITTER

Wasilla, AK – There are few political stories in the history of the United States that have gone like the one Sarah Palin has been playing out. Plucked from obscurity to a spot on the biggest stage, a largely dim-witted buffoon that should have simply 
disappeared who instead quits her one political position and becomes a superstar. With such little experience and so often being the butt of jokes, no one could have imagined that she would have become a major player, but that’s exactly what has happened.
Palin of course hasn’t just become one of the major political voices in the United States, she has become the go-to persona for the Republican Party, appealing to millions of people across the country all politicians, no matter their level of seasoning, have found themselves arguing for and against Palin every time she speaks. Of course that power does not necessarily translate to real power, specifically a potential run at President which many assume will happen, and will fail. Still, Palin has become the rock star of the Republican viewpoint, drawing a lot of water and helping to actually decide the direction of one political and many feel that that may indeed be her greatest strength, something Palin is apparently quite aware of and has prompted her to consider a run at President of Twitter.
“Sarah is quite aware of how far her voice carries and is weighing the best options to 
bring that voice to the people. There are many opportunities she is considering and one is just being the preeminent voice in social media. That is why she is considering trying for President of Twitter which she feels is a potentially great opportunity,” said a Palin insider. “Obviously there are a lot of people who would scoff at that ambition, who would dismiss those desires, who would rather engage in negative politicking rather than doing what is right for the People of the United States but that is not Sarah Palin, she is doing what is right for the people of the United States.”
While Twitter does have a corporate hierarchy it is not believed that is the Presidential position Palin is looking to acquire.
“Sarah wants to be a voice for all ordinary Americans not a corporate leader. Her goal is to engage the American people in a honest conversation about the current state and future of the country, not work the day-to-day business affairs of a company,” continued the insider. “This is just one of many options Sarah is considering at this point. Her ultimate goal is to bring a voice to the people of America and whether she is the President of the country or the President of Twitter she feels she will be able to do just that. Ultimately her goal is the betterment of the country and she will do whatever she can to make sure that happens.”
Palin currently has a little under 500,000 followers on Twitter, a far cry from the top user Lady Gaga who has a little under 9 million.
“There have certainly been people who have more followers and people who have done more to popularize the network, people like Ashton Kutcher for example, but no one has ever even considering running for President of the service. I think few people even thought such a position existed to be frank,” said Scrape TV Technology analyst Ken Kevins. “I think with so few followers though it will be a tough row. Ultimately politics in any realm is a popularity contest and that is something she is really going to have to work on if she wants to make a run at this thing.”
Some Twitter pundits predict that Palin has little chance of winning the Presidency but her presence in the race could split the vote. The current favourite if Ryan Seacrest.
