SARAH PALIN LOOKING TO PLUMP UP AMERICA’S CHILDREN

November 27 2010

Wasilla, AK – Obesity has never been an issue like it is today. While there were certainly portly people throughout history, the vast majority of folks simply never had enough food to get to the proportions that people are achieving today. Coupled with obesity
the ready availability of high fat foods, the growth of relative wealth and the commercialization of food production has become a toxic mix for people all around the world as waistlines continue to grow and grow without an apparent end in sight.

Because of the related health problems that obesity, and the bad habits that bring obesity about, can cause, the issue has become something of a financial and social burden for the countries whose collective waistline continues to expand. There is perhaps no better example of that than in the United States which over the last few decades has firmly controlled the crown as the most overweight country in the world. Despite that long rule at the top it is only recently that high ranking officials have really started to take note and taken action to try and lose the pounds. One person in particular, First Lady Michelle Obama, has recently been a leader in that area promoting healthy eating and initiating the ‘Let's Move’ initiative encouraging children stay active. However not everyone agrees with such programs, most notably Republican sweetheart Sarah Palin who would much prefer the children of America to get plumper and plumper for the future.sarah palin pointing

“Take her anti-obesity thing that she is on. She is on this kick, right. What she is telling us is she cannot trust parents to make decisions for their own children, for their own families in what we should eat,” said Palin in a radio interview Wednesday. “And I know I'm going to be again criticized for bringing this up, but instead of a government thinking that they need to take over and make decisions for us according to some politician or politician's wife priorities, just leave us alone, get off our back and allow us as individuals to exercise our own God-given rights to make our own decisions and then our country gets back on the right track.”

Palin left a trail of breadcrumbs from the interview to her Wasilla home.hansel gretel

“While there is certainly a notion, a strong notion, that people in the country should be left to make their own decisions and that the government should stay out of the bedrooms and kitchens of ordinary Americans, it’s clear that such an attitude simply isn’t feasible considering the size of the country,” said Scrape TV Political analyst Gabriel Kinsey.  “One has to keep in mind that national fitness programs have been a part of the country for a long time. It was in fact Dwight Eisenhower, Republican and war hero, that created the office in the first place and every President since, Democrat or Republican, has supported and promoted healthy eating. Laura Bush was perhaps one of the most active of all the First Ladies.”sarah palin little bit

The President's Council on Youth Fitness was founded in 1956 in response to a study indicating that American children were generally less healthy than European children.

“This, though, appears to be a case of classic politicking. Palin is in a position where virtually anything she says that may be perceived as critical of the current administration is a boon to her status. There could be other factors contributing to her objections, but it is likely politically motivated,” continued Kinsey. “Of course if we start seeing smoke from her chimney at all hours of the day or a rash of strange disappearances throughout the Wasilla area then we might be looking at something else. If she genuinely does want to fatten up the children of the country, well that may be something else entirely.”

Palin, it is believed, still has her sight making escape much more difficult.
