ANTHONY WEINER LIKELY IN A LOT OF TROUBLE WHEN HIS WIFE GETS HOME

New York, NY – Sex scandals have always been a part of politics. Cleopatra had her scandals, so did the Caesars. Sex has always been intimately embedded in politics and for all the things that have changed in the 6000 years of civilization that is one thing
that hasn’t. Sex has always been influenced by power, and politics whether accurately or not has always represented power. It is likely, therefore, that sex scandals will continue to be a part of politics for as long as the two exist.
That is something Anthony Weiner is finding out the very hard way right now. The well-respected Representative has been in the very centre of a massive firestorm which has taken over the media. The stakes are high for Weiner. His job is on the line, his future is very much in doubt, and his young marriage is in peril. As far as sex scandals go, Weiner’s indiscretions are relatively minor, but they caught wind in the press and now it will have to be ridden out. At the centre of all the chaos though is two people who are being forced to play out their personal problems in front of everyone. However, because of their jobs (Wife Huma Abedin is an aide to Secretary of State Clinton) the couple has been unable to resolve those issues, though when she returns from Africa it’s likely Weiner will have a lot of explaining to do.
"They really haven’t sat down and talked about things and that is making it really tough. She’s travelling the world and he’s sitting in the midst of the media firestorm.
That’s tough and he really has a lot to talk to her about. Hopefully when she comes back they will be able to have that conversation,” said a Weiner insider. “Add to that the baby and it’s really a tough thing. Obviously she’s heard something about what’s gone on, but she’s all the way in the Africa and so she probably hasn’t heard everything. Gossip takes a little while to travel.”
It was recently revealed that Abedin is pregnant.
“Obviously they are going to have to sit down and have a chat. They need to sort these things out and figure out where they are going. There are a lot of things to consider including the baby and future employment. He may have to leave his job, and Clinton is stepping down shortly so they are going to have to consider the financial challenges ahead of them,” continued the insider. “I think he’s just going to have to come clean with her, tell her everything. I mean everyone else knows what’s going on and the worst thing for a scorned woman is having everyone but you knowing your business. If he just comes clean and tells her everything I’m sure they will be able to work it out. They are both adults.”
Weiner has taken a leave of absence from his job which will give the couple plenty of time to talk upon her return.
“it is certainly possible to overcome these kinds of obstacles, both in their careers and in the personal realm. Abedin actually has an advantage considering who her boss is but in the end the conversation is going to have to be between the two of them,” said Scrape TV Family Values analyst Marge Hendricks. “If he tells her everything they can work things out, or at least they have a chance. If he continues to keep secrets, if continues to go on the computer, well then they are going to have troubles. They can make this right, but he needs to tell her everything that’s happened. Everyone else already knows anyway.”
Abedin will return from Africa sometime later this week.
