BILL CLINTON THROWS SUPPORT BEHIND NEWT GINGRICH PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN

November 27 2011

Washington, D.C. – It has been said that that politics makes strange bedfellows, and there is no place where that is more true than in the perhaps the most political city in the world, Washington D.C. Every day, no matter the political alignment, politicians newt gingrich
get together to decide the future of the nation, whether in conflict or, occasionally, in agreement.

There was perhaps no more divisive time in Washington than in the late 1990’s. Removed from the social and geopolitical issues affecting the nation today, much of the drama in that period was purely political and led by two major figures, Bill Clinton and Newt Gingrich.

As the two most powerful men in the country, that dup presided over one of the most dangerous times in recent politics and now more than a decade later have once again joined forces, this time though with a slightly different tact.

With Gingrich now running for President, Clinton has unexpectedly thrown his support behind his former nemesis, hoping he can lead the nation into the future.

“He's articulate and he tries to think of a conservative version of an idea that will solve a legitimate problem. For example, I watched the national security debate last night. bill clinton
And Newt said two things that would make an independent voter say, ‘Well, I gotta consider that’,” said Clinton after watching Saturday night’s debate.

The pair had butted heads during the latter part of the Clinton Presidency amidst the impeachment crisis, with Gingrich leading much of the rhetoric.

It’s not clear if Clinton himself, once considered the golden boy of the Democratic Party, has switched sides or is merely drawn in by the power of Newt.

Clinton’s wife Hilary of course lost a bitter campaign against incumbent President Barack Obama in 2008. Hillary will be stepping down from her position as Secretary of State following the end of the current term.

“Gaining support from Clinton would be a major coup for Gingrich and would not only likely assure him of the Republican nomination but also of becoming President. There newt gringrich
are a few hawks who would likely criticize that support, making him out to be too much of a liberal, but Clinton will draw a lot of water from voters and that would essentially be the death knell for the Obama Presidency,” said Scrape TV Political analyst Gabriel Kinsey. “I can’t remember another time when a former President switched sides started to support the other guy. This will be a first, a remarkable event in American politics, and one that could change the landscape forever. Or not. Oftentimes things don’t change forever, they just go a different way and this could be the same thing.”

Insiders with the Clinton camp have denied rumours that this is some type of convoluted effort to get revenge against Gingrich, though admit that Clinton has never forgotten those times.
