DNC CHAIRPERSON GUARANTEES JEWISH VOTE FOR OBAMA

Washington, D.C. – Every vote counts in every election, but that will be especially true in 2012. Polling at record lows and with the situation across the country not improving dramatically, President Obama will likely need every single vote he can get if he wants to gain a second term. Unlike the last election, which he won relatively easily, every single vote will count this time around and a small shift either way could change everything.
As he did in the last election, Obama has started to concentrate on specific groups of people to gain those needed votes. The last time around he concentrated on the dispossessed black community, the people who frequently didn’t vote in any election.
That swept him to victory in the Democratic primary and undoubtedly helped his national campaign. This time around, with those votes likely locked already, Obama has a different target, and already Jewish-German DNC chief has guaranteed the Jewish people of America will vote for him come election time.
“That is absolutely not the case, and it will be demonstrated in the election next year that the natural home for Jewish voters, both domestically in terms of policy and in our Israel policy, is the Democratic Party and President Obama as our candidate,” Debbie Wasserman Schultz said in response to questions about Obama’s policies towards Israel. Wasserman Schultz was appointed the DNC by Obama apparently to gather support and cooperation from the Jewish community across the country.
Wasserman Schultz is based in Florida, a key electoral state and home to a large Jewish community with which she has a great deal of influence.
“The support for Obama amongst Jewish voters has certainly slipped in recent months though he still retains the vast majority of them. Many looked to the loss of the district once held by Anthony Weiner in New York as indicative of an erosion of Jewish support but the polling simply doesn’t show that, not significantly anyway,” said Scrape TV Political analyst Gabriel Kinsey. “I don’t think it will be much of a challenge for Obama to gain the Jewish vote this time around, particularly not with a bulldog like Wasserman Schultz in charge. She has a robust team of people at her disposal, people who are willing to do her bidding to get votes, and they will do what they need to do to ensure the Jewish vote.”
The lost post in New York came following a sexting scandal involving Jewish Representative Weiner. The predominately Jewish area had been a democratic stronghold for decades.
“I’m sure that Wasserman Schultz will be working diligently to ensure the Jewish vote for the President. She will be making speeches and starting marches and rallies to support the President, but she will also be working behind the scenes, actively encouraging those who might be considering not voting for him to change their minds. Perhaps not offering incentives, that would be illegal, but the proper motivation let’s say,” continued Kinsey. “I think when it comes to election time most Jewish people in the country will vote Democrat because it is their best option. They may not totally agree with the President, but their other option isn’t really one at all. Coupled with the efforts of Wasserman Schultz and her people and you will likely see a large Jewish turnout come election day.”
Mostly Jewish members of the DNC have been spotted throughout Florida and New York in recent weeks, spreading the word.
