DICK CHENEY MAKES TORTUOUS DECISION TO BOMB IRAN OVER DOWNED DRONE

Washington, D.C. – When Dick Cheney started in politics he wasn’t very well liked. When he was Vice-President, he wasn’t very well liked. Now he is not very well liked. With all that evidence in place, it’s pretty safe to say that there aren’t many people who like Dick Cheney, yet he has managed to have a more successful life than most people who spend their entire lives liked by everyone.
That could speak to the old notion of the nice guy finishing last, or it could just be that Cheney was smart enough to hone a particular skill set and position himself to have it noticed. Whatever the reason, Cheney has had a great deal of success, if not a whole lot of friends.
That has gained him the reputation as a bit of cold man, a real-life Darth Vader, but despite all the problems with his heart – both physical and emotional – it appears that Cheney does have something of a conscience, choosing to only destroy the captured drone in Iran rather than laying waste to the entire country with the nuclear arsenal at his disposal. According to the insiders, Cheney felt tortured over the decision.
“The right response to that would have been to go in immediately after it had gone down and destroy it. You can do that from the air. You can do that with a quick 
airstrike, and in effect make it impossible for them to benefit from having captured that drone. I was told that the president had three options on his desk. He rejected all of them,” Cheney told Erin Burnett on her CNN show. “He asked for them to return it. And they aren’t going to do that.”
That decision by the President has apparently prompted Cheney to launch his own assault against the drone site.
The former Vice President has been phoning airbases across the country trying to find someone willing to take on the task, but thus far has had no takers.
“Dick was really torn. He wasn’t happy with the way the President dealt with it and he decided that he was going to have to do something about it himself. He considered just dealing with Iran for good, wiping the slate clean and moving on but ultimately decided that wiping out the country wasn’t the best option, and so has decided on the airstrike. He was really tortured by the decision. I mean not really tortured, just, you know...” said Cheney insider. “Now he is just assembling the team, getting the right people. There still a great number of people in the military who don’t like Obama and wish that he was still in charge and they take his calls. Once he gets the right people together, he will do what the President is unwilling to do.”
Cheney has had little success in creating his own air force since leaving office, which would have come in handy about now.
“Dick wants to do what needs to be done, none of this pussy footing. Iran needs to be dealt with. Clearly the United States has every right to fly spy drones wherever they please and other countries just need to allow that. Anything else is ludicrous,” continued the insider. “He’s glad the President is spying, but sometimes you need to be a little tougher when trying to extract the information and get what you want. Dick knows that and he knows how to do it, and that’s exactly what he plans on doing for his country.”
It’s not clear if the drone was capable of water boarding the facilities it spied on.
