DONALD TRUMP MAKES DECISION TO SERVE THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE

May 17 2011

New York, NY – Every election cycle there are dozens of potential candidates who flirt with the idea of running for President. Some are also-rans, Ron Paul, Alan Keyes, who run every single election despite little or no chance of winning, but occasionally a new barack obama election
candidate enters the race and electrifies the electorate. The last time that happened the electricity powered the person all the way to the White House, a situation many people are no doubt hoping to achieve themselves. Now though, one more name can be crossed off the list.

There is no debate that it was Donald Trump who had gotten people talking this time around. His dance around a possible run at President made headlines across the United States and around the world, particularly for his occasionally outrageous comments. Now though it appears that the one wildcard, the one lightning rod in the Presidential storm, has gone silent with Trump announcing that he will not seek the Republican nomination. While that certainly comes as a relief to many other potential candidates, in particular front-runner Mitt Romney, it leaves the race without the type of energy that has been seen so often in the electoral process. Nonetheless, Trump apparently has no regrets in making his decision, choosing to fulfill his duty to serve fans of ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ rather than becoming leader of the free world.donald trump fired

“I have spent the past several months unofficially campaigning and recognize that running for public office cannot be done half-heartedly. Ultimately, however, business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector,” Trump said in a statement. “After getting so many calls from NBC executives, I've decided that I will continue onward with ‘The Apprentice’. I will not be running for president, as much as I wanted to. This will be our 12th season. I love ‘Celebrity Apprentice’”.

Trump had been toying with a potential Presidential run for the last few months, just as his TV show was hitting ratings highs. NBC has promised to replace him had he run for President.

“I’m sure that by the time the elections come around we will see an exciting candidate come around. After all it wasn’t until two months before the general election that Sarah Palin came to the forefront and we all know how that turned out. There is always something that comes around and so Trump leaving isn’t that dire,” said Scrape TV Political analyst Gabriel Kinsey. “What it does mean is that he will be able to serve the country in the way he sees as the best way possible. If he had any doubts whatsoever about his ability and focus on running the country it was right that he pulled out. The last thing you want in a President is someone who isn’t one hundred percent sure of what he ordonald trump wacky hair she is doing and why they are doing it. If he feels this is the best way to serve the American people, then this was the best decision.”

‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ has averaged a little over seven million viewers a week this year.

“Now he will be able to focus on what he does well and give his all. The skills he has learned on the Apprentice and in business aren’t necessarily translatable to running a country unfortunately and so it is probably best that he stays where he is,” continued Kinsey. “Everyone must serve in their own way. Not everyone can be President and if he feels confident that sticking with the Apprentice is the best thing for the country, well than that is what he should do. Glad he made this choice.”

The next season of ‘The Apprentice’ will begin airing this fall.
