EVEN IF HE RUNS, DONALD TRUMP TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE VOTE FOR HIM
April 25 2011
New York, NY – It seems that in every election cycle in the United States there is one candidate who draws all the water for all the wrong reasons. There is always at least one candidate who most people assume has no chance of winning the Presidency who

nonetheless runs, usually becoming simply a sideshow but occasionally becoming a spoiler, ala Ralph Nader in 2000 and Ross Perot in 1992.
Whether they are spoilers or simply entertainment, the presence of such also-rans will likely never diminish. While some most certainly know that they have no chance at winning the nomination of a major party, never mind the Presidency itself, they like to bring their voice into the public discourse; they like to speak for what they believe in. For others the motivations behind their efforts are a little more nebulous, running from the possibly insane (Alan Keyes) to those with a larger and less transparent agenda. While it’s not yet clear where Donald Trump sits in that wide spectrum of potential Presidents, it’s becoming more and more evident that he will play a major role in the upcoming election, positively or negatively. However should he run it’s seen as extremely unlikely that the Donald will vote for himself, or anybody else for that matter, preferring instead to have an employee cast his ballot just as he has done for the last twenty years.
“I have never cast a vote for him myself, but I know people who have. Donald is a busy man, he travels all over the world and runs all kinds of businesses and so it’s tough for him to vote in every single election. Plus he doesn’t like those confined
booths, he’s a big guy in more ways than one,” said a former Trump employee who preferred to remain nameless. “I know he hasn’t voted in more than twenty years, at least not himself. He just has someone cast a ballot for him. They don’t cast an extra vote, that would be illegal, they just forfeit their own personal vote and select the person Donald wants.”
Recently released records show that Trump has not voted in a primary race since 1989, despite the likelihood of his seeking that very same nomination in a few months.
“Donald has all kinds of money so what do you expect? I mean he doesn’t go out and do his own grocery shopping, or buy his own socks. I mean that idea is ridiculous. Why would he vote by himself?” continued the ex-employee. “I’m sure absolutely nothing will change this time around. Donald is very firm in his views on this. He simply doesn’t like the booths, he doesn’t like to touch things that other people have touched, and because he is who he is he doesn’t feel he should have to put up with things he doesn’t like. I’m only guessing here but I think it’s extremely unlikely that he will vote this time around.”
Trump has reportedly already hired a team to register him to vote in the upcoming cycle.
“In many ways this focus on who candidates vote for is really kind of silly. I mean most vote for themselves, obviously, but they aren’t running for voter-in-chief, they are running for office. We want to know that they can do the job, not mark a ballot,” said Scrape TV Political analyst Gabriel Kinsey. “In many ways you want Trump to not vote this time around. If he has such an objection to doing it you don’t want him to flip-flop simply to get into office. You want integrity and honesty in a politician and by not voting that is exactly what you will get from Trump.”
Trump has also hired a team to validate his birth certificate in anticipation of a potential run.
