FBI REQUESTS CHAT WITH MICHELE BACHMANN AFTER SHE CLAIMS AFFINTY FOR JOHN WAYNE GACY

Waterloo, Iowa – Politics is ugly, it’s always been ugly, and it’s always going to be ugly. That’s just the way of politics. People jockey and elbow their way for position and have no problem trampling over anyone and everyone who might be standing in
their way. That has been the way ever since human beings started to organize into groups and will likely be the way it goes for as long as we stay organized.
Of course, things have gotten much better than they used to be. Slings and arrows in the media aren’t exactly the same thing as bullets in the skull or hemlock in a drink but politics can still be very brutal, particularly to the thin-skinned. There is no place in the world where that bloodbath is more on display than in the United States where politics has become an art and a business. In any run-up to the general election it is inevitable that people will rise and fall, and that many people will be trampled upon, and sometimes it’s their own fault. Thus far, no one has been steamrolled over but a recent comment from Michele Bachmann may have already poisoned her campaign after she compared herself to notorious serial killer John Wayne Gacy, who hailed from her hometown, and whom she apparently admires. Now those comments are raising the interest of the local office of the FBI and may undo her bid for President just as it was getting started.
“Well what I want them to know is just like, John Wayne was from Waterloo, Iowa.
That's the kind of spirit that I have, too,” Bachmann told a reporter from Fox News. She later clarified her comment. “Of course, the main point I was making are the sensibilities of John Wayne, which is patriotism, love of country, standing up for our nation, that positive enthusiasm is what America's all about.”
John Wayne Gacy, also from Waterloo, murdered 33 young men and boys in the 1970’s. He was executed in 1994.
“We are certainly aware of the comments by Representative Bachmann. While we certainly understand the insistence that she simply misspoke, we are also obligated to maintain records and investigate any kind of claims that relate to potential crimes. We do not expect that we will find Mrs. Bachmann has been actively involved in any serious crime, but we have an obligation to investigate,” said an official from a local FBI office. “We’ve checked with Washington and they gave us the go-ahead to speak with the representative about these comments. Following that conversation we will determine whether or not any follow-up needs to be made. We do however expect that the talk will be the beginning and the end of the issue. We are not expecting to find bodies buried in her cellar.”
Many of Gacy’s victims were found in the crawlspace underneath his house, as well as other areas on his property.
“One has to remember that similar to Bachmann, Gacy had a very pleasant outward appearance. He was a successful businessman, he was active in the community and even entertained at children’s parties. He even met with First Lady Rosalyn Carter at one point. One the surface, he was a good person while secretly he was a monster. One can’t deny that outwardly Bachmann seems to be a very nice person,” said Scrape TV Political analyst Gabriel Kinsey. “As we have seen with serial killers, being nice on the outside is not necessarily an indicator as to what is going on behind closed doors. It would really be best to find out now rather than have some skeletons literally falling out of the closet somewhere down the road. That would not help the Republican cause one bit.”
Unlike Bachmann, Gacy tended to lean liberal.
