GEORGE W. BUSH UNLIKELY TO CLAIM BIN LADEN DEATH REWARD

May 3 2011

Washington, D.C. – As the dust starts to settle across the globe, the realities of a world without Osama bin Laden are starting to become clear. While there is little doubt that many people will be scrambling for a long time to fully integrate the loss, most of bin laden
the planet has joined in celebration over the death of one of the most hated men in history. There is of course no place where that celebration is more potent than in the United States, which is justly exuberant about the demise of the man who attacked them.

Already though, the political games have started to take precedence over the security realities of the killing, with both sides using the death as a chess piece in a complex and potentially problematic match. The body of bin Laden will undoubtedly play a major role in the upcoming election as both sides try to take credit for the success. For Democrats the claim is clear, the evidence of success very much at hand. For Republicans however the claim on victory is a little more nebulous, a little more difficult to claim though that hasn’t stopped them from trying. Now one group has started a campaign revolving around the $25 million reward that had been promised for the terrorist leader, advocating that it be given to former President George W. Bush for his early efforts in tracking down bin Laden.

“Barack Obama did not kill bin Laden. The military and intelligence community killed him george bush
and that effort began many years ago at the direction of the President. That President was George W. Bush and it is his efforts that led to the killing of bin Laden,” said Michael Cahill. “Without his efforts bin Laden never would have been caught, which is exactly what the reward was designed for. George Bush should receive the full reward for his efforts in killing bin Laden. Anything less would be an insult.”

Early intelligence efforts which led to the killing began in 2007 via information gained from terrorist detainees.

“George W. Bush was been reviled in the liberal media for his efforts to fight these terrorist monsters but it is very clear now that his efforts resulted in this victory. Without his work bin Laden would still be walking around, living his million-dollar mansion. Something he would have been able to continue doing in the liberal Pakistani neighbourhood,” continued Cahill. “With George Bush’s efforts this day would never have come and he deserves full credit and the full reward for those efforts. This is great day for America, and without George Bush it would never have come. For that he deserves all the credit.”usama bin laden

Thus far the White House has not commented on the reward money, though many feel it unlikely that the former President would receive any portion of the money.

“Not only would it be a disastrous political move, there is realistically no reason why Bush should receive any money. He was doing his job and he certainly deserves credit to a degree, but not money. It’s entirely possible that he would actually be ineligible anyway and so this is probably a moot debate,” said Scrape TV Political analyst Gabriel Kinsey. “I mean it would certainly be nice to get the money, not only for the acknowledgement but also because that ain’t a bad piece of spending cash, but frankly I would put money that it won’t happen. Not much money, but some.”

It’s not clear if Bush has officially requested the reward money.
