HERMAN CAIN MAY BOW OUT CITING LACK OF ROOM AT WHITE HOUSE FOR ALL HIS WOMEN

Washington, D.C. – For a little while it appeared that the Cain Train was unstoppable. Accusation after accusation did little to upend his momentum, no matter how salacious or strange they got. Herman Cain just kept rising in the polls no matter what was thrown at him, and then things bottomed out.
Cain, though, was not undone by the controversies but rather by apathy. As has happened over and over again in this campaign, the political tides simply shifted away from Cain. In the wake of all the accusations it would be easy to place the blame for that shift, but that would only be in retrospect. In truth, Cain likely never had a chance at the nomination in the first place.
Now, in the wake of another fresh scandal in which a woman has claimed a 13-year affair with Cain, it appears that the campaign is finally starting to wind down. Well out of the top spot in polling and with more and more problems appearing, Cain is very likely done. According to insiders, that may be just as well after Cain took a visit to the White House and decided that there just wasn’t enough space to keep all his women at without a major expansion to the facility.
“This is cause for reassessment. During the summer we had to make some reassessments based on our financial situation. We were able to hang in there,” Cain reportedly said to a group of supporters on Monday. “Over the next several days, we are going to continue with the schedule as usual. But if a decision is made, different than to plow ahead, you all will be the first to know.”
Cain did not specify whether or not he determined that the White House expansion would be too costly or just not be feasible without a massive disruption to the house itself.
Other Presidents have made changes to the official home of the President in the past. Nixon famously had a bowling alley installed and Barack Obama had a basketball court constructed.
It’s not immediately clear how big a facility Cain would need for all his women.
“No one expects politicians in this day and age to be perfect, to be lily white, and that was clearly on display a few weeks back with Cain’s surge. He did some things that twenty years ago would have sunk his campaign right then and there but he surfed through it, which has a lot to say about changing attitudes in the country,” said Scrape TV Political analyst Gabriel Kinsey. “The winds shifted though, and they will again. This is the danger inherent in not having a single strong candidate. Eventually though they are going to have to find someone. I think, though, that this housing situation is just an out, an excuse, not a reason.”
Cain has reportedly slept with or sexually assaulted a number of women throughout the D.C. area who happen to be married to prominent construction company owners, which may resulted in an increased cost.
“There is certainly plenty of room on the grounds. Even taking over the basketball court, which would lose him cred in some areas, would be a viable solution but I guess he needs a kind of civil out, a way to save face, and this is it,” continued Kinsey. “It was a good run though, an unexpected one. It would have been nice to see him get all his women in one place, would have made for interesting press briefings for sure, but alas it looks like it’s not to be.”
Cain will reportedly keep all his women at a facility near his home should he quit the campaign.
