HERMAN CAIN SETS OFF ELECTRIFYING DEBATE ON BORDER FENCE

October 18 2011

Washington, D.C. – By the time November 2012 comes around it is very likely, probably in fact, that Herman Cain will be little more than a memory. He will likely still be active in the campaign process, but the high profile he is enjoying right now will have diminished greatly. Thus is the movement in the political game.herman cain speaking

No matter which party wins the election, it is extremely likely that Herman Cain will not make up a part of the government, whether he or his supporters like to admit that or not. For now, though, Cain is a player and very much has the stage, something of which he is taking full advantage.

Already making a stir with his taxation options, Cain has now turned to border control and electrified supporters and critics alike with a new proposal. Cain stated that, if elected President, he would establish an electrified fence along the border with Mexico in an effort to fry any efforts to enter the country illegally. Cain has apparently already drawn up plans for the fence on a series of cocktail napkins and contacted contractors to complete the work.

“It’s going to be 20 feet high. It’s going to have barbed wire on the top. It’s going to be electrified. And there’s going to be a sign on the other side saying, ‘It will kill you — Warning’,” Cain said during a campaign stump in Tennessee. Cain also went onto say that he would also include an alligator-filled moat along the fence line to further deter any would be fence jumpers, presumably those immune to electricity.alligators

It’s not clear what the cost of installing or maintaining such a fence or moat system would be, though the cost of feeding thousands of alligators, and keeping them from wandering into American territory, could make the project unfeasible.

“Giant walls with security are not unheard of in an effort to keep out undesirables. The Chinese did it centuries ago and the Soviets did it not that long ago. Admittedly those were different times and the Chinese wall really wouldn’t do anything today, but they are examples whether or not they are relevant,” said Scrape TV Political analyst Gabriel Kinsey. “Selling that to the American people is one thing, selling it and its cost to Congress is something else entirely. I mean a massive electrified fence and alligator moats sound great, but like many things what you promise and what you can deliver is the Achilles hill of most politicians, something Obama has been finding out the hard way.”

Cain had a similar program in place while acting as CEO of Godfather’s Pizza, which led to great success for that company.lion

“The bigger problem, aside from the money, is the escalation factor. Eventually desperate people will find a way to get past the fence and the alligators and then they are free and clear. Then the justify the expense, Cain will have to prevent those people from entering which means spending more money on more and more elaborate obstacles,” continued Kinsey. “Very quickly we could be seeing landmines and boiling oil, perhaps lasers or lions, or some kind of combination of all those things and eventually the whole border region is a warzone because he wants re-election and not only will that get expensive, but dangerous. Once you start getting into lasers and lions things can get out of control quickly.”

Cain is also reportedly considering killer robot alligators just in case the regular alligators get loose.
