JOHN MCCAIN RULES OUT 2012 PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN BUT MAY TRY AGAIN IN THE FUTURE

July 4 2011

Washington, D.C. – The theory goes that everyone has their moment in the sun, that everyone has a time to shine and in that time they either need to grab hold of the opportunity or lose it forever. That time does not come at the same age for john mccain surprised
everyone else but that if you are well prepared and aware, it doesn’t matter when it comes. Most people hope, of course, that that opportunity comes at a young age but for some it takes much longer.

For John McCain it took 72 years before he was finally able to get his big opportunity. Sure, he had lived an incredible life. He fought in a war, spent time as a POW, served as a public representative for 25 years, raised a family, and become a millionaire but it wasn’t until he ran for President that he realized what his real opportunity was going to be. That run nearly netted him the top spot and allowed him to become the most powerful man in the world, but, owing to his own deficits, the failings of his party, and the surging power of a young buck who was also seizing his opportunity, McCain’s chance faltered. However, the taste hasn’t left his mouth and though he has already ruled out a run in 2012, he hasn’t ruled out another shot in the future.

“The last time took a lot out of him. The whole deal is a big thing and really is meant for younger people, but it isn’t a dream which just vanishes with a loss. He can see where the momentum is this time around and it’s not with him, but that doesn’t mean john mccain hand
he’s unwilling to at least consider giving it another try sometime in the future,” said a McCain insider. “He realizes that the political landscape will start to change and eventually people will start to forget about him, but maybe that’s a good thing. Maybe they need to forget about him in order to realize they need him again.”

McCain will be 76 by the time the 2012 election concludes.

“Whether it’s 2016 or even later he does want another shot at the bog job again. He feels that age really shouldn’t be an obstacle to being the President and that maybe, just maybe, it could actually do him some good. After all, people tend to vote with what’s familiar and the older the population gets the more likely they may to vote for him,” continued the insider. “Let’s make it clear, he doesn’t want to be a hundred years old and sitting in the Oval Office. Not only would that be taxing on him but he also feels like at that age he might be a little out of touch with the people. It would be much harder to run at that age but also challenging to govern. He feels that the next ten to fifteen years are his best shot.”

McCain is currently the senior Senator from Arizona.john mccain sleeping

“The perception of age has really started to change in recent years and it could be that that help carries older candidates to electoral success, but unto itself is not a guarantee of success. He may get a few sympathy votes but, frankly, I think people will be disinclined to vote for an octogenarian,” said Scrape TV Political analyst Gabriel Kinsey. “It would be nice to see him get what he wanted, because it’s always nice to see that, but it is likely that his time has passed. I hate to say it, but it’s the truth. I mean he can see in four years, or eight, or even twelve but I don’t think that many people will vote for him at his age.”

It’s believed that if he does eventually get into office McCain will likely have to forfeit his old age pension.
