OBAMA MAY JUST WITHDRAW FROM 2012 PRESIDENTAL RACE
September 19 2011
Chicago, IL – Things are not very good for President Obama right now. There is no indication they are going to get any better either. The economy is still in a downspin, critics have sliced and diced him, and even his inner circle has started to revolt. All of that has pushed Obama’s approval ratings into a downspin. Things could only get worse if they weren’t already so bad.
Unfortunately for Obama these aren’t things he can simply ignore. By this time next year the Presidential campaign will be in full swing with debates raging and people deciding who they will vote for. For Republican supporters that field is wide open, but for Democrats there is one candidate under consideration, Barack Obama. Unfortunately for that party their hopes for another four years are depending on a disliked President, something which has caused many people to request that he withdraw, something Obama may in fact be considering, at least according to his hometown newspaper.
“I checked the Constitution, and he is under no compulsion to run for re-election. He can scrap the campaign, bag the fundraising calls and never watch another Republican debate as long as he's willing to vacate the premises by Jan. 20, 2013,” wrote Chicago Tribune columnist Steve Chapman. It’s not clear if Obama reads the Tribune, but insiders indicate he has been thinking along the same lines.
“It’s a tough job and it’s really tough to get it a second time, especially with things the way they are now. He is thinking about a lot of things, including the good of the party, but mainly what he’s thinking about is whether or not he really wants to do this

job for another four years. It’s gotten kind of dull, honestly,” said a White House insider. “Once you’re President there’s nowhere to go and nothing he has been doing, bills he has been trying to pass and the like, have been going anywhere and so he just feels like he isn’t accomplishing anything. That more than anything has him reconsidering.”
It’s believed likely that if the Obama’s were forced to move in 2013 that they would move back to the Chicago area. They have not begun packing yet, though they will have people do that for them.
“A lot of people have started to wonder aloud if they are going to be around for another four years. Already though a lot of staff has started to put together their resumes, just in case,” continued the insider. “I’m sure this article will only prompt those concerns over again. No one is happy about that, I mean it’s not going to be any easier for them to find jobs than it is anyone else, not unless Obama can turn things around.”
It’s also not clear if Obama himself has other job prospects lined up for the future. It’s likely though that he will have little trouble finding employment in the private sector.
“Things are as dire as they could possibly be for the President, there is no doubt about that. Anyone who thinks that he can just coast is fooling themselves. The only real positive that he has is that the Republicans are rapidly becoming a bunch of roller skating clowns with no real front runner, and there is no option to just elect no one to office,” said Scrape TV Political analyst Gabriel Kinsey. “If that were an option I’m sure a lot of people would opt for it. I mean it’s kind of like that now, you just wouldn’t have anyone to blame. Hopefully for his sake Obama makes the right decision, the one best for him and his family. Oh and his party and the country too.”
Obama is the only official Democratic candidate in the race right now.
