OBAMA’S FATHER FORCED OUT AT HARVARD
May 2 2011
Boston, MA – Even the harshest of cynics won’t argue that race relations in the United States have dramatically improved in the last few decades. Less than fifty years ago segregation was standard in many states across the union, a union which now
has a black man as its leader. In less than a single generation the country shuffled away centuries of hate and not simply tolerated, but embraced a black man, something few imagined would ever happen.
Thing are not perfect, as things tend not to be, but the strides which have been made in recent years have dramatically changed the direction of the nation, forever altering the history of an occasionally troubled nation. Of course like many things, people have adjusted rapidly to the new reality. Obama’s election has not ushered in a new era of race relations, freeing black men and women across the country from the legacy of slavery, but instead simply started a new chapter that may one day lead to true tolerance and acceptance for all people. That eventuality though is many years away at best and in the interim many people of all different races will continue to suffer prejudice and even out and out racism, including apparently the President’s own father who has apparently been booted out of Harvard decades after his death.
"We did ask the Immigration and Naturalization Service to delay a request By Barack Obama Sr. to extend his stay in the U.S. until they decided what action they could take in order to get rid of him. We were having difficulty with his financial arrangements and couldn’t seem to figure out how many wives he had,” said a secret document released by the school. “We are planning on telling him that they will not
give him any money, and that he had better return to Kenya and prepare his thesis at home. We have, therefore, come to the conclusion that he should terminate his stay in the United States and return to Kenya to carry on his research and the writing of his thesis.”
Obama stayed in Harvard, finally graduation in 1965. He died in 1982.
“Unfortunately there is a deep legacy of separation between races in the United States, legacies that will not be rewritten because things have changed in the present. There are some things that cannot be erased, some events that simply always will be what they are whether we like them or not,” said Scrape TV Racism analyst Drake Douglas. “The United States’ history is defined by problems with race, both negatively and positively. While the events themselves are of course awful, the fact that they have overcome them is a tribute to the spirit of the country and of the people. The strength gained from that struggle makes the country a better place, as does owning up to what has happened in the past, something that is difficult even for the strongest of people.”
Barack Jr. also attended Harvard and there is no indication that the university inquired about how many wives he had.
“There is no escaping history, but there is such a thing as not being held to it. It is unfortunate that so many young black men were denied Ivy league educations in the past, but hopefully learning those lessons have made the country a better place,” continued Douglas. “It’s great that Obama senior was able to finally earn his degree, but he should not have been forced out in the first place. Hopefully if things ever change, and if he is somehow able to come back to life of course, he will be welcomed back to the campus grounds with open arms. That would be a major step in making amends with history.”
Obama senior was buried in the small village of Nyang’oma Kogelo in Kenya and was thus unavailable for comment.
