PALIN AND BACHMANN UNLIKELY TO FIGHT OUT REPUBLICAN NOMINATION IN MUD WRESTLING RING

May 12 2011

Washington, D.C. – Politics in the United States has always been a dirty game. In today’s context there is much criticism of the partisanship of the two parties, which often puts the desires of the people and the best interests of the country on the mud wrestling
outside looking in, but this is nothing new. Politics has always been a rough game, a game that even in the United States has left more than a few careers dead, and even the occasional politician on the slab. In the big picture, the verbal rhetoric of today is relatively tame.

That doesn’t mean that the problems present in today’s politics are any less important or important. After all, there is much more at stake today than there ever has been. Money, global politics, war, and social factors are far more prominent today than they ever have been before, making the stakes for getting the politics right much higher. The centre of politics for the world is of course in the United States, something that will become more and more evident over the next year and half as the newest presidential cycle begins. That means of course that the mud-slinging is only about the begin, though it appears unlikely that one pair, potential candidates Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin, will keep their battles behind the podium rather than in the mud wrestling ring as one Republican leader requested.

“I’m trying, trying really hard but neither of them have give an inch. I went to both Palin and Bachmann personally with the proposal but both of them rejected it. Bachmann seemed a little more willing, but she did say no. I’m going to keep trying michele bachmann
though,” said the Republican official who preferred to remain anonymous. “I mean the party will pay for the arena, for the ring, for the mud, and even for the towels which, frankly, will probably have to be thrown away. All they need to do is show up in their bikinis and we will be a go, really not much effort on their part.”

Both women have been considered long shot candidates for winning the Republican nomination for President.

“Palin is big right now still but her political presence has waned recently. Bachmann is coming up, but it will likely start to fade again with her. This is the perfect opportunity for both of them to be on display, in a very prominent way, and provide a demonstrable victory,” continued the official. “And the best thing is they won’t have to talk. That seems to be what’s tripping them up, talking, and there will be very little of that in the wrestling ring. I mean there will be a little bit right at the beginning and maybe a chat with the winner afterwards, but the actual chance at victory won’t be based on their ability or lack thereof to speak. It’ll be about brawn, balance, and grip and that’s just about all we need in a potential President.”

Donald Trump and Mitt Romney are currently considered the favourites to win the Republican nomination.sarah palin winking

“This would certainly be a first in the history of the United States, something that I think few people would ever have seen coming. It’s happened in Finland of course, but never in the United States and it could change the way politics are done forever,” said Scrape TV Political analyst Gabriel Kinsey. “Of course none of this would be legally binding and it’s likely that no matter the results of the match that Romney or someone else would be taking on Obama for President, but it sure would be fun to watch. Hopefully if it does go ahead, and it may as they drop further in the polling, it doesn’t extend to the Presidential race itself. No one wants to see that.”

Both Palin and Bachmann have reportedly been hitting the gym regularly in recent weeks, though it’s not clear if that’s related.
