SARAH PALIN MAY HAVE BEEN INVOLVED WITH SHOOTING OF GABRIELLE GIFFORDS

Phoenix, AZ – When Representative Gabrielle Giffords was shot last January the nation collectively held its breath. Giffords was not a major player, she was not on the national stage, and in fact until she was shot very few people had even heard of her, but when she was attacked many felt like the entire political system had been attacked, and even they themselves had been shot.
Now almost a year later Giffords has made a dramatic recovery. While she does still suffer from some impairments, something that will likely be the case for the rest of her life, her return to health has been one of the few good stories to come out of the political realm this year.
The story, of course, is not finished. Her shooter is still in jail awaiting trial and the repercussions of the attack itself have forever changed the way political rallies, the type that Giffords was injured at, are run. Now though new information has come forward that may be of even deeper consequence to the political sphere with accusations that Sarah Palin may have been directly involved in the shooting, having targeted Giffords in the past, something she may still want to finish.
"Staying upbeat, even during the unsettling campaigns of 2010. When we all watched opposition sometimes become vitriol. After she voted for health care, she faced people in her district calling her a 'traitor,' booing her in town halls, " ABC`s Diane Sawyer said of the Congresswoman."Someone even fired a gun into her office door. And you may remember Sarah Palin targeted her district with an ad that had a gun sight on it."
Officially, Giffords was shot by Jared Lee Loughner, who is believed to be mentally disturbed, exactly the type of person that would work well as a patsy.
It`s not clear where Loughner received his gun training, but Palin has built a large part of her reputation on the basis of her prowess with a weapon.
"This would be a very shocking development if it can be proven. Obviously this information is just something gathered from a few editors and researchers but it is a link that hasn`t previously been discussed and, if true, would be one of the more shocking events in modern American politics," said Scrape TV Political analyst Gabriel Kinsey. "This too gives us a new insight on Palin`s thinking about running for President. She is already very scrutinized, but the profile would be that much bigger if she were running on a national stage."
Six other people died in the shooting. It`s not clear if Palin might have had issues with any of them or if they just didn`t duck in time.
"If this does come out in the wash, if this does prove to be true, I would imagine that Palin`s political career will be over for good. She will likely face criminal charges and that alone would be enough to end her career, never mind being shunned by her peers," continued Kinsey. "Hiring people to shoot other people is rarely good for political careers. I mean it worked for LBJ but that is the exception rather than the rule. It`s generally not a good idea."
Palin has recently purchased a house in Arizona. It`s not clear if she plans on running for Congress once Giffords` seat comes up for election.
