STEPHEN BALDWIN CONSIDERING RUN FOR MAYOR OF LONG ISLAND

New York, NY – There have been few Hollywood families who have cast as large a shadow as the Baldwin clan has done in the last two decades. Stephen, Daniel, Billy, and big brother Alec have been easily the most preeminent of acting families in a town
built on nepotism. It is Alec of course who started the run, and it is Alec who has remained the shining star of that particular clan and so it makes sense that he is the one trying to make an even bigger impact.
In light of the ongoing drama revolving around Anthony Weiner, Alec has started to make noise about a possible run at Mayor of New York. Weiner, a one-time candidate for the position, was considered the democratic front runner to challenge Michael Bloomberg in 2013, but given his scandal that may now be impossible. So, in walks Baldwin, the die-hard New Yorker, die-hard Democrat, and a man who is beloved by the majority of the city, ready to make a difference. No matter the outcome of the Mayoral chatter, it is clear that Alec will always be the most prominent of the Baldwin brothers, though if brother Stephen has anything to say about it, he won’t be the only Mayor in the city as he apparently prepares to run for the leadership of Long Island, which of course is part of New York City.
“Stephen is really excited about Alec running. He thinks he would be a great Mayor. Alec loves the city and the city loves him. He’s a big fan of Bloomberg but this is his brother. Blood does go deeper than politics and he is totally behind Alec running for Mayor,” said a Baldwin insider. “It’s really inspired him to go onto bigger things as 
well. He has always looked up to Alec and really kind of followed him, but not in a pedantic way. He really feels inspired by his brother, and that’s why he’s looking at the Long Island position.”
Long Island contains four counties of New York, Nassau, Suffolk, Brooklyn, and Queens, the latter of which are a part of the city.
“He really feels like he can contribute to the community as a whole. This isn’t him just trying to follow Alec in a similar path, this is him trying to make a real statement and do something good for the community, just as any good Christian should do,” continued the insider. “He really does feel like this is a calling from above. It wasn’t quite revelation from the Lord or anything, not like his previous experiences, but he really does see it as his destiny and something that he must do. He hopes the people of Long Island see it the same way and choose to make him their next Mayor. He knows he can do them proud.”
Baldwin would likely be running against himself. There is no incumbent because there is no such position.
“I would bet that we won’t even see Alec run for office. The truth is that Bloomberg 
has done a great job in the city and is really well liked by the majority of voters. Unless something happens with him I think it’s unlikely that he will be leaving via vote. Eventually he will leave the job, but until then it’s his,” said Scrape TV Political analyst Gabriel Kinsey. “Baldwin would be a reasonable choice from the celebrity realm, but the reality is he has no administrative experience. He has firm political views but it takes much more than that to run a city as complex as New York. Without Bloomberg he could get elected, but would have trouble doing the job. As for Stephen, well that’s a little different. He’s going to have trouble getting elected and even more trouble getting anything done because the position just doesn’t exist. It’s really hard to get people to come out to the polls to vote for something, never mind getting them out to vote for nothing, which is what Baldwin would essentially be doing. Good luck to him I guess, but I don’t think it will work the way he hopes.”
Baldwin has started formulating plans to solicit funds online to help finance his campaign.
