STEVE JOBS MAKING POLITICAL PREDICTIONS FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE
October 22 2011
Washington, D.C.– Powerful people in any realm are always interested in politics. True, just about everyone is interested in politics in some form or another, but for powerful people there is a real, tangible reason to become involved. Politics, like it or not, runs and is run by money.
Though in his life Steve Jobs was never a major political force, at least not in public, he nonetheless appears to have had strong opinions on the current President, opinions that appear to have persisted from beyond the grave. According to his biography, Jobs told Barack Obama that he was headed for a one-term Presidency, words that appeared to haunt the President especially after finding out about the Apple founder’s death, something that appears to be continuing to haunt him now that Jobs is gone from the earthly realm.
“The President had a great deal of respect for Steve Jobs, his innovation and his business acumen. He really did like Jobs and everything that he did and at first, well he kind of ignored what he said. I mean everyone is saying that he is going to be one-term so that wasn’t anything new, but it is something that has started to rattle around in his brain since Jobs died, and that is a little disturbing,” said a Presidential insider. “He said that on a few occasions it has actually wakened him up at night, hearing Jobs’ voice echoing though his chambers. It’s very disturbing. Michelle hasn’t heard the voice, leading him to assume that it’s all in his head.”
The pair apparently met last year when Jobs issued the warning.
“However, it has gotten a little more extreme than that. He feels like Steve Jobs is around him all the time, he even swears he saw him at a press briefing a few days ago. It feels to him like Jobs has decided to stay around and make his Presidency a priority even after his death, for whatever reason,” continued the insider. “The President knows all too well where things lay politically and he really doesn’t need an ethereal reminder. He doesn’t need this spook coasting through the White House telling him what he already knows. He just wants it to go away.”
It’s not clear what the Secret Service policy on ghostly invaders is at present. They were tacitly allowed under the Nixon administration.
It’s also not clear if Jobs is speaking to other politicians from beyond the grave, which could be a compromise of national security.
“He can deal without it, frankly. He has enough on his plate and more than a few people whispering the same thing in his ear. Now he’s probably going to have to deal with Gaddafi doing the same thing and this is just not what he needs. He needs to focus, not pestering,” continued the insider. “Thus far, he has not contacted the ghost fighting division in the Pentagon, which was established in the 70’s. Only one guy works there and he’s a little creepy. The President doesn’t want to use that resource if he can avoid it, but he may not be able to unfortunately.”
Reagan was the last President to use that office when he apparently tried to exorcise his own ghost.
