ROMNEY’S ABILITY TO SPEAK FRENCH MAY TORPEDO PRESIDENTIAL AMBITIONS

Washington, D.C. – Now things are starting to get nasty, as of course they were always going to do. As the Primary votes continue to go Mitt Romney’s way a massive target has been drawn on his back, not for Democrats, though, but for other Republicans who either still want a shot at winning the nomination or just taking him down.
In particular, Newt Gingrich has started attacking the front leader, launching a friendly-fire attack unlike any other in recent political debates. Thus far, it does not appear that Gingrich’s attacks have much of an effect on the Romney steam roller as it heads into South Carolina, a place that if victory can be had, may cinch the nomination for the former Massachusetts Governor.
Those attacks, mostly in the form of videos, have brought a lot of attention to both Romney and Gingrich but does not appear to have moved the election meter much, though that may be about to change after a new accusation that Romney knows how to speak French, something that will undoubtedly cause a lot of voters to reconsider their options.
“It’s not a slam dunk, we know that, but this is something that a lot of voters didn’t know, that he worked to keep secret from them and something which we feel could help turn the tide. It isn’t just the French, it’s the fact that he tried to keep it a secret. Well, the French is a big deal too,” said Gingrich campaign insider. “I think the video is very clear. It shows that Romney speaks with two different voices, his Democratic voice and his Republican voice, his English voice and his French voice. He just adapts himself to whoever is in the audience.”
Romney does in fact speak French, poorly, and has been caught on video in the past speaking the language.
Until the late 1970’s Republican nominees were not allowed to speak any languages other than English, especially French.
“No Republican President should have the ability to speak another language, any other language. That is a Democrat thing and totally in contrast to Republican ideals, just as Mitt Romney himself is. This is just one more piece of evidence showing how Mitt Romney is really just a Democrat hiding in Republican clothing, trying to fool the 
American people,” continued the insider. “He tried to keep this a secret but now that secret is out and the people, the voters, finally have a clear picture of who Mitt Romney is, and that he speaks French.”
The video compared Romney to Democrat John Kerry, who also speaks French.
“I don’t think this is a slam dunk. It’s a hit, no doubt about it, but there will have to be some work done to determine exactly how much French Romney speaks. If it is just conversational it’s not as big a deal. If he is fluent, well that will turn off a lot of Republican voters, especially the base,” said Scrape TV Political analyst Gabriel Kinsey. “No Republican wants a President who is smarter than them, and not one who sounds like a foreigner even in private. That is not in keeping with the Republican identity and could seriously hurt his chances at winning the Presidency. I’m sure more than a few voters will turn on this.”
Romney also studied Portuguese in the past but has reportedly forgotten most of it.
