SECRET SURGERY TO IMPLANT A BACKBONE IN PRESIDENT OBAMA DECLARED A SUCCESS

January 5 2012

Washington, D.C. – There is perhaps no place in the world where things are as tough as in Washington. True, ordinary Americans are suffering, still losing their homes, still losing their jobs, but those are struggles that people have all the time. In today’s environment the struggle isn’t harder, it’s just more common resulting in a lot more noise. In Washington, though, the job is much harder for everyone.barack obama weak

It is, obviously, the person at the centre of that town who has the most difficult job. No matter who actually holds the position, being President means that you have to fend off attacks from all sides, and ultimately it is you that gets the blame when things go wrong, and of course have to sit and watch as others take the credit when things go right. In today’s America, with rhetoric and partisanship at an all time high, that job is even harder.

Amplifying those issues has been the nature of the man at the top. While he has shown some bravado in dealing with international issues, Barack Obama’s consistent desire to make everyone happy has made him a lame duck, possibly on the chopping block as we speak. However as the election season really begins it appears that things have changed, likely a result of an operation over the holidays that provided the President with a spine for the first time.spine xray

“...but when Congress refuses to act, and as a result, hurts our economy and puts our people at risk, then I have an obligation as President to do what I can without them. I’ve got an obligation to act on behalf of the American people. And I’m not going to stand by while a minority in the Senate puts party ideology ahead of the people that we were elected to serve. Not with so much at stake, not at this make-or-break moment for middle-class Americans. We’re not going to let that happen,” said President Obama, making his first appearance with the new spine.

The speech came just days after the Republicans made their first real moves towards choosing a candidate who will challenge the President next November, which may have been deliberate.

“The President is generally in good health. He is physically active and most of his tests are perfect. He’s got some plaque in his arteries, which is likely a result of smoking and stress, but otherwise he is in pretty good health. His back though, his back has been a problem for years,” said an insider with the President’s medical staff. “He’s struggled with it on and off for a long time but we feel that we’ve finally corrected it for good. He appears to be standing taller and firmer and that is a good sign that the surgery was a success.”barack obama

Obama was seen walking tenderly after the speech, though that may be just a result of the actual surgery which is believed to have been very robust.

“You never know. Problems with the back, spine issues, are hard to diagnose and even more difficult to fix permanently. So many factors go into creating a weak spine that’s it’s hard to ensure that the patient does the things to keep himself healthy,” continued the insider. “Right now things are great but it all depends on the patient. Unfortunately, the President has a history of slouching and that causes damage to his spine so as good as it is right now, it could go bad again. Dealing with the backbone is never an easy fix.”

Obama apparently did suffer a small surgical setback during a conversation with his wife, but recovered shortly afterwards with lots of bed rest.
