BULGARIA CLAIMS OF ALIEN CONTACT SURPRISES NOBODY
November 30 2009
Sofia, Bulgaria – The dream of life beyond our own is something that has informed the human condition since we made our first steps towards self-awareness. Whether those dreams existed to help explain the existence of the world, to bring about fear in

sinners and young children, or to act as a proxy to help explore our own experiences, life beyond our world has been a constant source of fascination. In recent years such dreams have moved away from the ethereal realm and into the pragmatic but the drive that helps to create such fantasies has never waned.
Through the 20th century and in to the 21st those pragmatic dreams have revolved around the quest for alien life. Both science fiction and science fact have made serious waves in exploring the possibility of such life and in so doing have enforced our belief in something much bigger than ourselves. Science fact has of course focused on smaller scale examples of life hoping to find microbial life on the Martian ice caps or the flowing rivers of Europa but for some that just isn’t enough. Bulgaria, for example, has suddenly claimed that they are currently in contact with alien life something that if proven to be true could forever change the landscape of the human experience and our knowledge of our place in the universe.
“We have analysed the pictograms in more than 150 crop circles from across the world and they lead us to one inevitable conclusion. These are answers to the questions that we beamed into space and that means that aliens are acknowledging us, that they are currently all around us and watching us all the time,” said Lachezar Filipov, deputy director of the space research institute. “They are not hostile towards us, rather, they want to help us but we have not grown enough in order to establish direct contact with them. They are ready to help us but we don’t know what to request from them in case of contact. We believe humans and aliens will have direct contact in the next 10 to 15 years but it will be with telepathy rather than radio waves. A warning though, we may not see eye-to-eye. They are very critical of people’s amoral behaviour and our interference with nature.”
It’s not immediately clear how the agency determined that the crop circles were direct answers to their questions, what those questions might have been, how they know the intent of the aliens, when and how they will contact humans, or how Bulgaria was able to form a space agency.
“The quest for alien life is a very compelling adventure for a number of reasons. While it’s unlikely we will ever see ‘Star Trek’ style aliens at least in the near future, the quest for extraterrestrial life of any kind helps to illuminate how and why we are here, beyond the ethereal explanation anyway,” said Scrape TV Science analyst Dr. Howard Poe. “Because it’s so compelling it’s inevitable that some people are going to see answers to questions they are asking even if none exist. That is just human nature.”
Crop circles were long ago been debunked as being the product of alien interference and more the result of human vandalism, news that very well might not have reached Bulgaria which is still emerging from under the shadow of Soviet rule.
“Bulgaria has done quite well in recent years and is one of only a few of the former Soviet countries that has been accepted to the European Union. That, however, does not mean that they have developed the level of scientific sophistication of more advanced countries like say the United States,” continued Poe. “Of course just flat out dismissing their claims might be a little dangerous. If they are indeed correct and they presaging an alien invasion than we need to pay attention. Dismissing these claims simply because they come from Bulgaria could doom the planet and the future of the human race, which would not be good.”
After the announcement the people of Bulgaria began renouncing religion and have begun carving pictograms in trees and buildings across the country.
