DOLPHINS TARGETED AS GREATEST THREAT TO HUMAN LIFE

Atlanta, GA – From the beginning of our self-awareness human beings have gazed into the stars wondering what wonders lay among them. As our knowledge of the cosmos and our ability to actually explore that vastness of space has increased that
wonder has gone from myth, to faith, to plausible scientific possibilities. Thus far, despite tantalizing possibilities on places like Mars and Europa, the existence of life outside our planet has not been found leaving only the incredible diversity present on our little marble still the greatest wonder in the Universe.
Approximately 3.7 billion years ago life first started to appear on our planet. Those single-celled organisms would eventually make way for multi-celled organisms with basic nervous systems. Eventually life became far more complicated, paving the way for dinosaurs and eventually mammals, which in turn would birth human beings. It is that latter development, us, that has fundamentally changed the planet. Our intelligence and self awareness has made us the apex species
on the planet, dominating and populating the globe in ways no other species has
before. Our rule of the planet has gone largely unchallenged by other animal species since our emergence from Africa 50,000 years ago, until now. A new study, conducted at Emory University in Atlanta, has suggested that Dolphins may be the heir apparent to humanity, boasting far more intelligence and self-awareness than previously believed, making them our natural enemy and rival for the future of the planet.
“If we use relative brain size as a metric of 'intelligence' then one would have to conclude that dolphins are second in intelligence to modern humans. Size isn't everything but there are least two other lines of evidence support her claims about dolphin intelligence,” said Lori Marino, senior lecturer at Emory. “Certain features of the bran and behavioural studies show that dolphins are far closer to human beings in many areas than has previously been believed. Comprehension of symbol-based communications as well as comprehension of abstract concepts prove that Dolphins are far more alert than we previously understood, making them far more dangerous than ever understood.”
Such levels of intelligence were postulated in the ‘Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’ series by author Douglas Adams. In that depiction all dolphins suddenly disappeared minutes before the Earth was destroyed to make way for a hyperspatial express route.
“It’s very unlikely that things will turn out exactly the way Adams depicted in his novels which were, after all, fiction but this new evidence makes it very clear that there is much more under the hood than previously believed and that is very, very scary,” said Scrape TV Science analyst Dr. Howard Poe. “Dolphins are cute and friendly and so they may not be seen as a threat by most people but that could very well be their trick to try and get close to us, a kind of black widow constantly stalking us and waiting for the right moment to strike. That makes them a very dangerous threat to humanity.”
Scientists have pointed out that other successful animals, such as dinosaurs, once dominated the planet only to run to extinction.
“I sincerely doubt that the giant lizards paid much attention to animals like Hadrocodium or Teinolophos as they were stomping about ancient Pangaea but they were the threat, they were the precursors to the animals that would eventually best the dinosaurs, even end up putting their bones in museums,” continued Poe. “Where history has happened, it will repeat and there is a very good likelihood that another species will eventually supplant humanity and dominate the planet. Now that we know where at least on threat lies we will be able to deal with it effectively and efficiently, that is if we act now.”
The popular bottlenose dolphin, considered the most likely to lead any potential assault against human populations, currently numbers at least 270,000 in the Pacific Ocean.
