SCIENTISTS HESITANT TO BELIEVE IN SARAH PALIN AUTOBIOGRAPHY
November 19 2009
Washington, D.C. – Of the many criticisms levelled against Sarah Palin it can never be said that she has not made the most her opportunities. Since being picked out of obscurity a little over a year ago to run for Vice-President Palin has been parodied on

Saturday Night Live, made incredible ink in newspapers and websites, become one of the most prominent American faces, and now has become an author. While her autobiography, ‘Going Rogue’, continues to eat up the sales charts many are levelling criticism against the book and of course against Palin herself.
Much of that criticism revolves around erratic claims, imagined meetings with powerful people, and in what has become an ongoing theme for the Palin, lashing out at critics who have been eager to jump all over her inadequacies. One point of the book that has caused quite a stir, for some reason, is Palin’s assertion that she does not believe in evolution, the natural process which measures the change in genetic makeup of living organisms. That claim, as well as properly constructed sentences, lack of spelling errors and void of pictures has prompted a group of biologists to come out against the book, claiming that Palin could not possibly have written it herself and claims to the contrary are false.
“It’s quite clear from the cohesive nature of the book that Palin could not possibly have authored it herself, despite her claims. We have had English professors and professional editors look over every page in that book and all are in agreement that it had to have been written by some other entity and not Palin herself,” said lead biologist Dr. Kevin Hendricks. “What exactly that other being is or what their motivation could have been is something that still has to be uncovered but we have total faith that our assessment of this piece is accurate. We simply do not believe that
Sarah Palin could have conjugated verbs quite so cohesively without some help.”
Palin admits to using an editor from publisher HarperCollins but insists that she did the core writing herself and that her hand was not guided or forced in any way.
“The problem with trying to prove a claim like this is that the onus is on the one making the accusation. There are so many claims and counter claims in Sarah Palin’s life that everything just seems a blur and it’s difficult to discern whether or not such claims are accurate or simply people trying to get on the Palin bandwagon. That’s going to be a hard nut to crack for these scientists,” said Scrape TV Literary analyst Samuel Lee. “I suppose we could do a forensic analysis of the work, compare it to other pieces that she has written in the past, and have a slightly clearer picture of the veracity of her claims but of course that requires that people would believe in the science of such analysis and that she has written something before.”
Palin has noted that she has signed her name to thousands of documents, both in her duties in political office and since becoming a celebrity, though such writing is largely considered a poor barometer for literary ability.
“In the final analysis though it isn’t so much important who wrote the book, but what the book says. You can doubt the authorship but it’s the content that decides whether or not it’s relevant to the world at large and that is something that still needs to be determined in this particular case,” continued Lee. “Obviously a lot of people are interested in Sarah Palin but there is a serious question as to whether or not they would be willing to spend many hours, or $14.99, to hear what she thinks. After all her success in life hasn’t exactly been a result of her intellect or her opinions.”
The group of scientists did acknowledge that many of the ideas presented in the book did in fact seem Palin-esque, but dispute the idea that it has much to do with oil, national security, hunting, or any combination of those things.
