FOSSILS FOUND ON MARS; ATTACK DEEMED LIKELY

August 19 2010

Washington, D.C. – In our long quest to understand our world and our place in it human beings have explored many options. From the Gods of the Greeks and Romans to Pagan traditions to the modern worship of single deities such as God and zeus
Waheguru humans have explored, created, and destroyed explanations for the meaning of life. For the last, few hundred years the rise of science has started to supplant such lofty explanations but still the meaning of life has remained elusive.

For many the real answer is in the stars in the form of other beings like ourselves. Such a discovery would undoubtedly alter the status quo and challenges traditional readings of other explanations though it would not necessarily change our understanding of life. The quest to uncover such life has long been on the celestial bodies nearest to us, specifically the moon and Mars. For centuries, years before man ever dreamt of travelling to such destinations, both bodies have been the source of fascination and mysticism. Mars in particular, named after the Roman god of war, has long held our attention and now a recent discovery of potential fossils has reignited that passion. The likelihood of fossilized remains will of course bring into question our place in the universe and whether or not after all this time men from Mars are coming to get us.mars

“The Pilbara is very cool. It's part of the Earth that has managed to stay at the surface for around 3.5 billion years - so about three quarters of the history of the Earth. These features, stomatolites, life made these features. We can tell that by the fact that only life could make those shapes; no geological process could,” Dr. Adrian Brown of Seti told the BBC. “You need 20km of smooth terrain and unfortunately at this site it is pretty rocky - those ancient rocks are pretty weathered and the surface is rocky and uneven. It will be visiting another interesting site when it lands, but this is the place that we should be checking out for life on early Mars.”

It’s believed likely that the mission will not be destroyed by little green men, though that might be a result of secrecy rather than lack of existence.marvin the martian

“Mars really has been one of the most compelling bodies in our solar system for a long time. It has been a catalyst for dreams, for fiction, and because of its similarities to our own planet for science. Mars is certainly one of the best bets for life in our solar system, at least ancient life, but it’s unlikely that we will find Mars men,” said Scrape TV Science analyst Dr. Howard Poe. “I’d like to say it’s impossible but that wouldn’t be very scientific. Science postulates a theory and then sets about proving or disproving it. We have not proven that life exists or did exist on Mars but we also haven’t proven that it didn’t so it’s possible that it did or even does today.”

Most scientists believe that methane emissions may be the result of microscopic life currently habituating the planet.mars attacks

“Look, we don’t see any roads of buildings so the likelihood that some human-like race currently inhabits the planet is really quite silly and even if there is life, microbial life say, they really wouldn’t be a threat even if they had space ships. We could take them out quite easily,” continued Poe. “Of course they could be invisible or live underneath the surface or simply possess some sophisticated technology that renders them invisible to our eyes which frankly means we’re screwed one way or the other.”

The Mars Science Laboratory will be deployed in 2011 in an effort to stir up whatever life may be on Mars.
