NASA BEGINS WORK ON MOON BASE AS IT GETS READY TO LEAVE EARTH FOREVER

June 11 2011

Washington, D.C. – Our travels into space has never been exactly what most people imagined it would be, it has never lived up to our wildest imaginations. Like many things in life, our travels into the heavens have been much more mundane and shuttle launch
pedestrian than what we had hoped for, but it has radically altered our lives beyond anything we can imagine. Take for example the development of the microchip, which was propelled dramatically forward by the space program, and how commonly it is used today. While not exactly the same as rocketing through space, few would debate the value of the microchip in our daily lives.

Of course, such developments aren’t nearly as exciting or sexy as the greatest wanderings of our imagination and though they could not have happened without the work of NASA, few people are willing or able to see the world beyond what they can touch. That has meant consistent budgetary problems for the organization as politicians use cuts to better their vote count, and risked future advances into the cosmos. For years NASA officials have simply dealt with those challenges as best as they have been able, but now they are taking a more aggressive stance, starting construction on a moon base and forever freeing themselves from the confines of Earth, and the whims of the political winds.

“This is something that we have been looking to do for a very long time. Obviously we have not been back to the moon in a very long time and it has been a stated goal by astronaut on the moon
our organization throughout the years to eventually make our way back there. Now we finally have the plan in place,” said a NASA official who asked to remain anonymous. “This is locked in, we are doing this by hook or by crook. It won’t be an easy task but we feel we have secured enough long term financing to make this happen. Once the base is built, we won’t be subject to these quarrels any longer and space exploration will finally be free.”

Many in the organization have been vocal about the cessation of the shuttle program, which is forcing astronauts to beg rides from commercial entities.

“We are simply sick and tired of being pushed around by these pencil pushers. We are trying to move this world into the future and we are consistently being perverted by people who don’t know what they are talking about, and care even less. No more,” continued the insider. “Life on the Moon will be difficult to be sure, but all space travel is difficult. We are up for a challenge and this is one we take on with great aplomb. We need this opportunity, and it will make the future ours, finally in the hands of scientists rather than in policy makers.”the moon surface

The plan is to have the base completed by 2022, at which time most of the organizations assets will be moved.

“I want to make it clear that we have no plans on any sort of military effort. We do not desire revenge of any kind. We are simply going to the moon in order to further our scientific pursuits. However if that path leads us to military technology, then that’s where it leads us,” continued the insider. “At this stage it is far too late to stop. The base is happening, and from there we will be able to launch to outwards, across the solar system and beyond. Now it the time of NASA, and no one will get in our way this time.”

Starbucks has already applied for a permit in the new facility.
