NEW RUSSIAN RESEARCH SHOWS THAT SUN MAY IN FACT REVOLVE AROUND THE EARTH

Moscow, Russia – For much of human history the basics of scientific understanding of the natural world that we accept today have been totally foreign. It is only in the last few hundred years that a wide understanding of the nature of the universe and
the natural world has started to take hold, eschewing many of the traditional beliefs concerning how the basics function. While there are certainly still many mysteries about the universe, certain things have come to be commonly accepted as fact.
Some explanations, such as the process of evolution, are still hotly debated in many circles but core principles such as gravity are, for the most part, accepted on their scientific basis. Part of that wide acceptance has been a result of the diversity of the discoveries which has spanned the globe from Asia to Europe to the Americas, meaning no one voice has been alone in articulating these ideas, negating concerns of country and culture. However many of those ideas, at least until the modern era, have not been met placidly. Scientific rationale that is now commonly accepted was frequently punished in its time, met with not scepticism but outright hostility and anger by authorities and by the masses. Even today in a more enlightened world radical new hypothesis’ are often met with disdain, much like the reaction to a new theory out of Russia that turns the nature of the universe on its ear by suggesting that the Sun and other heavenly bodies do indeed revolve around the Earth.
“It has become more and more clear over Russian skies that thing are not as they have been accepted to be. We have for many years accepted these notions advanced by western ideologues that govern commonly accepted science, but it is becoming clear that this cannot be the case,” said Russian researcher Vasily Shuliakovskii. “We have for too long accepted these advanced notions as fact without study, without question, but our research does show that these ideas may be faulty and that the Earth is the centre of the solar system.”
The research follows a poll which indicates that one third of Russians believe the Sun revolves around the Earth, about the same amount that believes human beings lived alongside dinosaurs.
“This theory is not done to oppose these ideas, but was researched independently through observation and study to come to these conclusions. We do not take the opinion of the masses into consideration when conducting these studies,” continued Shuliakovskii. “As for these other notions, we have not studied these things. We have no notion as to whether or not dinosaurs and man lived together, but equally we have no notion that they did not. Until we are able to prove that human beings and dinosaurs did not live together, we cannot cast any kind of judgement unlike this notion of the Sun and Earth.”
Extensive study of the fossil records have never shown human beings living anywhere near the time of the dinosaurs.
“The reality is that any truly radical scientific theory does cause a lot of opposition and even violent aggression. That has abated somewhat in recent years but still the scientific community does frequently isolate those ideas which do not play into the commonly accepted wisdom,” said Scrape TV Science analyst Dr. Howard Poe. “Realistically I think few people will accept this notion of the Sun being the centre of the universe, or at least the Solar System, but honestly until they present the data and show their findings I think it would be wrong to dismiss them entirely, not unlike what happened to Copernicus all those years ago.”
A further twelve percent of Russians simply don’t believe in science.
