OFFICIALS CONFIRM UFO VIDEO FROM LONDON IS A REAL VIDEO

London, U.K. – Ever since we started to look into the skies we started to wonder about our place in the Universe. We didn’t articulate it as such of course, but the wonder was still there and as potent as it is today. Modern science has given us a 
window into that world, a bit of an understanding as to where we are in the scope of things, though as our science advances, so too does our wonder and our confusion at the scale of existence.
One of the biggest questions human beings have been asking is of course whether or not we are alone in the Universe. Whether we look to Gods or to alien creatures, our desire to have neighbours, to not be alone remains as potent as it was two million years ago. It is a desire that crosses all borders and all cultural differences. So powerful is that desire that we will often make up such creatures, and begin to see them whether or not they are there. That has most potently been seen in recent years in the form of UFO sightings which have taken over, for the most part, stories of bleeding Virgin Mary statues and burning bushes. Those sightings, real or not, are a part of a long-held mechanism which allows us to commune with the unknown, no matter the reality of the experience. Now a new sighting in London has excited the world again and though there are many doubters, it appears that in fact the video of UFO’s flying across one of our biggest cities is in fact real, no matter what it depicts.
“Thus far we have no explanation as to what was seen in the video. I can confirm that we had no military craft in the area so we suspect that these strange lights are a product of a natural phenomenon or a prank. We will look further into it,” said a government spokesperson. “I can confirm however that the video itself is indeed real. We have multiple eyewitness accounts and a forensic analysis has shown that the video and audio signal is genuine. What we are looking at is a real video of something.”
The video was apparently shot on a cell phone and later uploaded to video website YouTube.
“I sincerely doubt that this footage we have seen is actually of creatures from some distant planet. It is very unlikely that interstellar travellers would go out of their way to not be seen and then put on a light show in one of the biggest cities in the world. It would be cool, but not it’s not very likely,” said Scrape TV Science analyst Dr. Howard Poe. “However, from everything I’ve seen it does appear that the video itself is real. The people seem real, the buildings seem real. It does appear to be a real recording of a daytime scene in downtown London. That alone is worth noting.”
The video was apparently shot outside a BBC building on Sunday.
“It’s not often we see these types of videos, particularly not ones as clear and crisp as this. I do find it very difficult to believe that this was shot on a cell phone. I know they have started to integrate cameras into many of these phones, but this is just too good to be true,” continued Poe. “There has to be some kind of trickery involved with this. I’d like it to be exactly what they claim it to be, but I think it’s very unlikely. It looks to be London, but the idea that someone could film this on their phone and then disseminate it all across the world, that is just irrational. There has to be some kind of gag going on here.”
The person who supposedly shot the video was, notably, not available for comment.
