SCIENTISTS FIND CURE FOR PEANUT ALLERGIES MEANT TO WEED OUT THE WEAK

Evanston, IL – The one defining characteristic of the human animal, much more important than language or any of our inventions, is our capacity to understand and manipulate our world. In fact, everything else keys off that ability. We reject our natural instincts on a daily basis and in doing so contribute to a larger, far more advanced world than any other animal species.
Part of that rejection has been our development of science which has given us the ability to not only understand the world around us, but also to manipulate to our own needs and desires. Of particular success in the last century has been medical science, which has allowed us to fight disease that normally would have killed us, extend life spans, and grow to a massive size.
Now medical science appears to have made another breakthrough, potentially eliminating yet another ailment that had afflicted humans by preventing the effects of peanut allergies, an allergy that had arisen in our species to weed out the weak from the strong, making us weaker but far more nut-friendly.
“So far we have only been able to test this technique in mice, but has proven to be incredibly successful. Essentially, we bond the peanut protein to blood cells and then inject them into the patient, which acclimates that body to said protein and prevents the immune system from overreacting,” said one of the researchers. “We believe this technique can be successfully transferred to human beings and it will effectively eliminate one of the more damaging and destructive of allergies. No longer will the world have to fear nuts, nuts for everyone.”
Despite the advances, other researchers believe the enthusiasm over the research is just crazy.
“This is at the assumption stage. The biggest problem will be in immunizing allergic people. This will not, at least not in the short term, allow freedom for nuts which has really become an issue in recent years. All over the place people are restricted from nuts, just because a few people get a little crazy about breathing. That won’t end anytime soon,” said Scrape TV Health analyst Rebecca Phelps. “It’s an interesting advance, but like any development it’s only as useful as the people who are using it. the core problem is that for a long time now people with nut allergies have been treated differently and they are going to expect that to continue, and will likely refuse to take medication because of that. Getting past that is going to be the real challenge.”
Deaths related to nut allergies are in the dozens over the course of a year, due in large part to significant restrictions.
“There are many people who don’t like and will flat out refuse to take medications, even one that could prevent their untimely deaths, because they feel the world needs to adjust to them, or at least stay adjusted to their needs and that is going to be the real challenge,” continued Phelps. “Normally, those types of people would have been weeded out by things like nut allergies. They would be six feet under, but our efforts to accommodate them has left them alive and complaining and that is going to cause serious problems for clearing up all this nutty mess in the long term.”
Those not willing to take the future vaccine will likely be getting exactly what they deserve.
