SMART CHIMP NOW ABLE TO SPEAK AND LEAD ARMIES LIKE HUMANS

Atlanta, GA – There are many nightmare scenarios about the end of the world. Nearly all of them have involved some kind of religious, natural, or scientific apocalypse but in all our time, with all our predictions, we have come no closer to such and. While that may still be in store for us, right now there is no evidence that human beings are any closer to the end of times than ever.
Well, maybe. One limited scenario, played out in only a handful of stories, has been the very thing that allowed us to dominate the planet, to push out other species, causing them their own apocalypse, and putting us on top. That method has been, in short, evolution.
Because of complete dominance of the planet it has been long assumed that no other species will ever be able to really grow and become a significant player. Our grip over the globe is so widespread and so thorough that no other animals reach the population numbers required to make a significant leap forward, or so we believed.
Now a revelation that a super-smart Chimpanzee in Atlanta has become able to understand human speech we may in fact be looking at the beginning of the end of reign on the planet, provided we cannot obliterate all chimps forever.
“The results suggest that the common ancestor of chimpanzees and humans may have had the capability to perceive speech-like sounds before the evolution of speech, and that early humans were taking advantage of this latent ability when speech did eventually emerge,” said Lisa Heimbauer who headed the research with the chimp, 25-year old ‘Panzee’.
Chimps can live up to sixty years in captivity. It’s not clear if ‘Panzee’ has access to other animals which would enable him to build an army.
Panzee understands 130 English words, that he is willing to reveal.
“This is fascinating research because it gives us a great insight into the origins of human speech but like all research there are dangers inherent in it. Teaching an animal to become smarter, provoking it in many ways to improve its brain capacity, can be very dangerous and potentially lead to very disastrous consequences,” said Scrape TV Science analyst Dr. Howard Poe. “This is not a process that should be undertaken lightly and not one that should be decided by a small group of people. They are risking the future of our entire species and that is a decision not to be taken lightly.”
It’s not clear if the facility in question consulted with any government group before initiating its research, nor if they are willing to destroy the chimp following the end of their research.
“This is very dangerous territory and we really do need to tread lightly, for the good of all human beings. This could very well be the beginning of the end of our species, a time that our children will look upon as the moment when things changed as they watch the world dying away,” continued Poe. “Remember, the chimps will have access to all we have created and that will, because they haven’t earned it, likely make them irresponsible with the power they have inherited and that, well that’s a bad thing. Possibly a very bad thing for everyone.”
Panzee has also taken to thumbing through celebrity magazines, indicating both higher and lower intelligence than previously thought possible.
