CARRIE PREJEAN’S NEW HUSBAND KIND OF GIRLY

San Diego, CA – The institution of marriage has been an ever evolving model of human companionship. At its most basic level marriage is a legal and emotional affirmation of a pair bond between two individuals. Human beings, being mostly 
monogamous animals, seek out bonded relationships that in theory should last their entire lives. While we have attributed ideas such as love and romance to such bonding, at its essence marriage exists for two reasons; breeding and security, reasons that haven’t changed since our ancestors first began to cohabitate in caves.
Of course most people don’t like to think of marriage in such bland terms. The romance, the love, and the near glory that has come to define the institution of marriage is as valid as people want it to be and is as relevant a defining characteristic as those elemental qualities. Like everything in human society we have added and altered and mutated the natural world to fit our ideals. Marriage itself is also undergoing radical changes with much of the religious overtones being stripped away and new versions of the process becoming more prevalent. Nowhere is that more than in the gay community where marriage has been faced with a fundamental change that is changing our idea of marriage. Now a former beauty queen Carrie Prejean, who was once the face of the opposition to that change, has begun her own definition of the institution by marrying NFL quarterback Kyle Boller who most people regard as mostly a girl.
“The ceremony was beautiful and both of them looked perfect. It was really a dream wedding and it couldn’t have been better and more fitting for two great people. Carrie in particular was shining, this is day she’s dreamt about for a long time,” said a wedding attendee. “There was no politics, no drama, just two people totally in love and a bunch of family and friends there to celebrate. It was really a great day and I hope they have a great life together.”
Not everyone is happy for the couple though, particularly the fans of the Baltimore Ravens whom Boller quarterbacked for five years.
“Boller was more than a bust, he was a disaster. This guy was a first round pick and 
he was injured as much as he was healthy. Granted he was a low first round pick but still. I mean the guy barely moved in the pocket and held to ball too long which resulted in him getting hit a whole lot. Even when he did release the ball he threw it like a girl,” said Baltimore Sports writer Mike Hawkins. “Pretty much everyone was happy to see him go. We all knew that when they placed him on IR that that would be the end of it and thankfully he took the hint. It wasn’t the worst first round pick in NFL history but it was probably the worst in Raven history and everyone is glad to see it ended. The guy was such a woman.”
Boller last played for the woeful St. Louis Rams and in April signed with the miserable Oakland Raiders, which notably is right across the bay from San Francisco.
“Boller really was a flop. He showed up to practice and he wasn’t undone by ego or lack of trying, he just wasn’t very good. Isn’t very good frankly and never will be. The guy couldn’t stand up to a hit and had this kind of floppy handed throw which I guess is fine if you don’t really want to win,” said Scrape TV Sports analyst Mark Marvins. “The guy really was kind of a woman and so I guess it makes sense that he’s out in California married to a beauty queen. I mean he’s in Oakland which is a manly town but at least they are used to losing so their expectation won’t be high. As for the marriage, well I guess someone will have to carry the purse.”
Prejean was reportedly nervous about marrying Boller until he was able to confirm that Oakland was indeed in the United States.
