EVEN SHAQ’S WIFE ISN’T INTERESTED IN SEEING SEX TAPE

Miami, FL – There was a time when personal things were kept personal. There was time when indiscretions and improprieties were only reported when conducted by the lower class, when the famous and the powerful kept their secrets to themselves. 
While many of those stories may have now leaked out to the public, in their time they remained unknown to the public at large. And then the 1990’s happened.
It was actually in the late 1980’s when things first began the change. The infamous sex tape featuring Rob Lowe, a scandal which nearly cost him his career, was something unlike anything anyone had seen before. Through the 90’s something shifted. Sex lives went from scandal to commonplace and by the time Pamela Anderson appeared in her own sex tape, or President Clinton was impeached for his indiscretions, something had turned over. Now not only were the sex lives of famous people not secret anymore, they were a commodity. The thing which had nearly destroyed the career of one person a decade before was now a path towards success, something socialites Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian would later master. Like everything though, not all sex tapes are made equal. Some take off and some simply are, but virtually all garner some kind of attention because, in the end, it involves people having sex. However at least one series of tapes has not been made public, ones involving Shaquille O’Neal, something his ex-wife is sure is a good thing for everyone.
“Obviously there is a little bit of pain involved in this for her, but that’s not the only reason. She and Shaq are okay and what has passed between them has passed. If 
the tapes came out she would be hurt, but she could get over it,” said a friend of Shaunie O'Neal. “However she has had sex with Shaq and she can tell you that it isn’t the best of experiences. She doesn’t want to see the tapes and she is pretty sure that no one else would want to see them either. It’s not a pretty sight.”
The O’Neal’s were married for seven years.
“Obviously people would watch because he’s famous but, well, it would probably be one of those things that you just can’t get out of your head. You would have to look because it’s there, but she has been there and done that and she is sure that it wouldn’t be a pleasant situation,” continued the friend. “This isn’t bitterness talking either. It also isn’t a desire to protect their children which would be totally valid, but just an interest in keeping the public safe. He was in relatively good shape when those videos were shot, but even in his prime, well, let’s just say that he looked really good on the court, fully clothed. Outside that environment it’s something else entirely.”
The couple has been divorced since 2009. They have four children together.
“I think it will be an interesting thing to study this period from a distance, something
anthropologists and historians will be able to do in fifty years or so. Perhaps this shift in cultural mores will permanently change the way we see human sexuality, or perhaps just a shift in the way we see celebrities. It will be interesting to see where this all shakes down,” said Scrape TV Health analyst Rebecca Phelps. “I for one would certainly be interested in seeing the recordings. I have to say that at this time and place in the world there is very little that I could see which would cause real deep psychological problems. Of course, by interest would be purely scientific, as a part of advancing studies on early 21st century mating rituals and I think Shaq would provide an interesting case study.”
It’s not clear where the recording are being held, but it is believed to be a secure facility.
