FORMER BOARD MEMBERS WANT EVERY SINGLE LITTLE DETAIL OF JERRY SANDUSKY ABUSE ALLEGATIONS

University Park, PA – Unlike most sex abuse cases, there are lots of people responsible for the actions of Jerry Sandusky. The man himself is of course most responsible, having committed the acts but as more and more details have come to light it has become clear that he did not commit those act in any kind of privacy and that many, many people enabled him to continue.
Most prominent of those enablers is of course Joe Paterno and the now former President of the University. However, it has become clear that those two were not were not the only people deeply involved in keeping Sandusky’s after-school activities secret, and allowing him to continue unmolested.
Unfortunately, for some people involved with Sandusky, not everyone knew about the abuse and now five former board members of his charity, which enabled him to recruit children, want every single little detail of the abuse that they did not know was going on. They swear they knew nothing which is why they want details now. Why else would they want details.
“Not one thing was said to us. Not a damn thing,” said Judge Bradley P. Lunsford who served on the board for four years.
Other former board members have also expressed total and absolute incredulity at the charges, insisting that they could not have possibly known about this in any way shape or form.
They appear to be the first group of people that Sandusky did not molest or rape children in front of, and at least a few of them want to know why that was exactly.
“This is a breach of trust, a profound one. This was going on the whole time and we knew nothing about it, nothing at all. It appears that most of the world knew that he was doing these things but not certain individuals who were intimately involved in procuring these children for him and that is really unsettling. They thought they could trust Sandusky and he betrayed them. It isn’t something that they are going to forget anytime soon,” said an insider with the board. “He was their friend, at least that’s what he claimed, and he let this go on behind their backs, obviously making an effort to hide it specifically from them.” 
It’s not clear if the members eventually left the board because they felt that Sandusky was lying to them, if they suspected that he was systematically abusing young boys, or for some other unrelated reason.
A lawyer for one of the members said that had they known, they likely would have done something to stop the abuse, which is probably why they weren’t told.
It’s not clear if Sandusky actually looked directly in the eyes of the board members while he was abusing children, much like he did with Mike McQueary.
It’s also not clear if Sandusky could get into legal trouble for not disclosing all activities associated with the charity, including the rampant sex abuse.
