JAY CUTLER FUMBLES FIANCEE AS NFL LOCKOUT COMES TO AN END

Chicago, IL – The long national nightmare appears to finally be over. The NFL, team owners, and the players union appear to have finally come to an agreement which will end the lockout and pave the way for the start of the NFL season, on time. While the
players still need to vote on accepting the terms of the new collective bargaining agreement, it appears that the threat of a delayed or even cancelled NFL season is at an end.
That news comes as a great relief to the millions of fans across the country who were looking at a Fall without their favourite sport. Now, with the mechanics of the sport behind them, players and fans only have to worry about hits and fumbles on the field. That is especially true for fans of the Chicago Bears who, aside from having to deal with the labour drama, also had to deal with the massive media attention paid to their quarterback, due in large part to his engagement to TV personality Kristin Cavallari, as well as his tendency to fumble the ball and sit out important games. Now though it appears that at least one more distraction is off the table after Cutler split with Cavallari in order to fully concentrate on his time on the bench.
“We are all really happy that the lockout is over. It’s going to be a hard time getting things back up to speed quickly but it is good work. We all know we are working 
towards a good cause and we are thrilled that the season is going to go off properly and that we are finally going to have football,” said a Bears insider. “We are already preparing for the players return, getting the facilities ready and prepping the training gear. We are really happy that Cutler is going to be coming back clear headed and ready to play. We’ve already prepared his locker seat exactly the way he likes it, ready for the long haul.”
Cutler and Cavallari were engaged last year, shortly before sitting out the NFC Championship game.
“As a part of the collective bargaining agreement, Jay will also get the seat warmers he had wanted all along. It was technically a part of his contract but we couldn’t install them until the union agreed, and now the path is clear. I don’t think he will ever get up once we are done,” continued the insider. “And now he doesn’t really have much reason to move. He can sit in comfort and not have to worry about the media attention, at least in response to his personal life. I’m sure more than a few reporters will want o ask him about his health and his sitting habits, but at least that one big distraction is out of the way and that is good for him and for the whole team.”
The padded and warmed seats will apparently be transported for away games and be available on the sidelines for all games.
“It’s going to be a great year. A lot of people thought we overachieved last year but it was really just the start of things. I think with the lockout done, with the engagement done, and with Jay really comfortable on the sidelines this is going to be one of the best years yet for the Chicago Bears,” continued the insider. “No one will be bugging him about sitting down all the time and he’s just going to be able to relax and that is the best thing for any quarterback, especially Jay who really loves to sit. Now he’s going to be doing that in total peace and comfort.”
Cutler has apparently been sitting a whole lot during the extended offseason.
