REPORT: BEN ROETHLISBERGER DIDN’T ASSAULT ANYONE AT WEDDING RECEPTION

Pittsburgh, PA – It’s been an exciting week for NFL fans all across the board. The end of the lockout and the contract stalemate has put teams and players back to the game which they and their fans love so much, resulting in a flurry of activity, a binge 
for football fans. The players too have been just as excited as they start preparing to play, pack for their move to new teams, and start to play the game they so love.
For Ben Roethlisberger, the All-Star quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, this week has been even more exciting than it has been for most players. Aside from all the excitement about starting to work again, Roethlisberger is also enjoying his first week of marriage. Roethlisberger, 29, married physician’s assistant Ashley Harlan in a ceremony last Saturday surrounded by friends, family, and teammates. It is the first marriage for both. For ‘Big Ben’ that marriage is surely the start of a great year, certainly better than last year when he started the season with a six-game suspension and ended it with a loss to the Green Bay Packers in the Super Bowl. Already the year has gotten off to a better after reports that the QB did not assault, molest, or even kiss anyone inappropriately during the wedding reception despite the presence of many young ladies.
“Ben is really happy. Ashley is a great girl and they are both very excited about the 
marriage. They had a great wedding ceremony and the reception was everything both of them could have imagined. It was as close to a dream wedding as they could have imagined and they are both thrilled,” said a family friend. “It was also exciting because Ben was able to keep his hands to himself the entire day. I mean he hugged and kissed Ash but that is fine, that is expected. He did though stay away from everyone else despite the booze and all the young ladies. Everyone was really proud of him.”
Roethlisberger has been the subject of two high-profile sex assault allegations in 2009 and 2010, the latter of which resulted in his suspension.
"Ashley has a lot of younger cousins and friends and most of them are attractive but Ben was totally respectful. He hugged them but kept his hands high. He only kissed the older ladies and only on the cheek. Even by the end of the night when he was a little tipsy he managed to keep his hands in the right place. It was perfect,” continued the friend. “Ben really has come a long way and we are all very proud of him. Not only because he married a great lady but also because he seems to have gotten over some of his issues. It looks like Ashley will be the only woman in his life for a long time to come and that is good news for Ben and all the bar-going ladies across the country.”
The reception reportedly had six hundred guests, a good number of which were attractive.
“It really takes something for a person like Roethlisberger, a person who has all kinds of attention paid to him by so many attractive ladies, to finally settle down and stop groping women. It remains to be seen how long this will last, but that reception sure was a good test,” said Scrape TV Sports analyst Mark Marvins. “There will be ups and downs in the marriage, there always are, but hopefully when those tough times come he won’t turn to molesting young women in bars. That is really not the way to behave and hopefully he doesn’t return to that lifestyle, both for him and for the Steelers.”
Roethlisberger and his will reportedly have a brief honeymoon in Aruba, where there are plenty of attractive ladies.
