SHAWN JOHNSON STALKER GUILTY...OF SEXINESS

Los Angeles, CA - There’s a very fine line between actively pursuing a person who has stolen your heart and actively stalking them. Generally those lines aren’t decided by the person who is enchanted, but by the subject of that affection. If a subject 
shares similar feelings then it is acceptable, but if the person does not reciprocate, it is stalking. If the person does not know the other person exists and they show up at their doorstep stating they that they are married, the person is generally downright crazy.
Celebrities, by the nature of their position in the world are often subject to such affections. Some such stalking cases end peacefully with the subject shaken but safe. Other times the cases end tragically. John Hinckley and Jodie Foster, Robert John Bardo and Rebecca Schaeffer, and most famously Mark David Chapman and John Lennon were some of those tragedies that have prompted heightened awareness of such behaviour, and more beefier laws to protect the victims of such people. When Shawn Johnson burst onto the scene as a 16-year old Olympic champion in 2008 there likely wasn’t a person in
the world who wasn’t taken by her perky personality and her All-American looks. Robert Michael O'Ryan was one of those people who attempted to meet her by breaking onto a CBS facility while Johnson filmed ‘Dancing with the Stars’. Now O’Ryan has been found guilty on multiple charges, though he maintains that the only thing he is guilty of is sexiness.
“We are overjoyed that this has finally come to a conclusion. This is the verdict we were looking for and we hope that he will be given the maximum sentence not only to protect Shawn but also other young women who might fall prey to his behaviour,” said a spokesperson for the gymnast. “This has been a long and traumatic ordeal for everyone involved. We sincerely hope that Mr. O’Ryan finds the help he obviously needs and is able to eventually integrate back into proper civilized society.”
O’Ryan had attempted to secure and insanity deal though was hobbled by his declaration that his not insane and dead sexy.
“These kinds of cases really highlight failings in the criminal justice system. This case saw everything done right but stalking happens to regular people as well and rarely do they end up like this. This conclusion is great for Johnson because she is a victim like anyone else but this type of diligence needs to happen across the board in order to help everyone in these situations,” said Scrape TV Crime analyst Willard Weston. “In virtually all of these cases the person doing the stalking has some kind of mental illness and so there is no call to become angry with the individual but they do need treatment and incarceration because they cannot be allowed to walk around freely and interfere with people’s lives.”
O’Ryan reportedly continued to declare his sexiness throughout the trial but Johnson was apparently unimpressed.
“There is a fundamental difference between the way men and women think and we see
that in situations like this. If the situation were reversed and he was being stalked by Johnson he would have been all over it. Men see looks and sex first, whereas women look for long term stability and the ability to raise children. That’s why we see so many good looking women with ugly men, because they have other attributes,” continued Weston. “There is a certain type of woman who are excited by looks exclusively but they are a very particular breed. Obviously Johnson isn’t one of those, or she’s just not into the long hair unwashed look, and he should have moved on. Now he’s going to jail where there are no girls at all to understand his sexiness.”
O’Ryan will be sentenced later in the month.
