NEW JERSEY SANITATION WORKER FINDS BODY PARTS IN TRASH, TOSSES THEM BACK

Elizabeth, NJ – New Jersey has always had a rough reputation. While there’s little doubt that much of that is well-deserved, a lot no doubt has to do with their neighbour, New York. As a dumping ground, both literally and figuratively, for the 
bustling metropolis across the Hudson, the people of New Jersey have never really had much a chance at gaining respect. Of course never having tried to gain any respect doesn’t help much either, but such is the life of a Jersey Boy.
Whether it has been the mafia, changing demographics, or just the attitude of people inside the state, Jersey has always been the gutter for New York which has become one of the greatest cities to ever grace the planet Earth. Jersey meanwhile boasts Newark and Trenton, hardly cities that stake out a reputation at all, never mind one to rival the city across the river. Regardless, Jersey has made peace with itself and even produced 
venerable citizens such as Bruce Willis and Bruce Springsteen as well as legendary TV shows such as ‘The Sopranos’. Still, Jersey is Jersey as evidenced by an unsettling find in the city of Linden. Two sanitation workers in that city stumbled across an assortment of body parts while making their rounds and not being a part of the city’s trash requirements, left them where they were.
“I can confirm that two sanitation workers discovered the partial remains of a man and a woman in the city of Linden. The bodies were found amongst cloth laundry bags and two black garbage bags that were left on the street,” said Union County Prosecutor Theodore Romankow. “We believe the male to be Hispanic and between the ages of 30 and 35. We have no information yet on the woman. The city of Linden has very specific trash restrictions adjudicating what can and what cannot be thrown in the garbage. Human remains have long been restricted from regular garbage and should be disposed of according to the city’s green policies. We are currently investigating who might have dumped these bodies and will prosecute accordingly.”
Union County has long had a reputation as one of the greenest counties in the state and has won awards for its waste management program. 
“I can tell you that the workers in this case did exactly the right thing. Many people complain when their trash isn’t taken away, but we make what can and what cannot be thrown away very clear. Every six months we distribute a circular to every home and our workers are directed to not accept anything that does not fall into those parameters,” said a spokesperson for Mayor Richard J. Gerbounka. “Body parts go with compost. They are not to be in blue bins or mixed in amongst garbage. We have made that very clear in the past but obviously some people have still not learned. We will be doing due diligence to ensure that these people dumping trash are prosecuted to the full extent of the law.”
Essex County, which houses the most populous city Newark, recently convicted a couple for dumping their stillborn baby in their neighbour’s recycling bin.
“If we are going to make this a greener world we all need to work together and we cannot have people simply throwing their trash wherever they please. New Jersey has always had a reputation for being dirty, but we are the Garden State and we are very proud of that,” continued the spokesperson. “We will not accept people simply throwing garbage wherever they please and in the process eschewing the laws of the county. Body parts have a place, as does everything else, and people need to learn that.”
It is estimated that the state as a whole composts 70 tons of human remains monthly.
