RUSH LIMBAUGH THE CENTRE OF INVESTIGATION INTO GABRIELLE GIFFORDS SHOOTING

Tucson, AZ – Politically motivated murders are nothing new. Dating back to the earliest days of governments major political figures have been assassinated. Julius Caesar, Abraham Lincoln, Franz Ferdinand, John F. Kennedy, Gandhi, and Benazir 
Bhutto are just a few of famous politicians who have met their end at the point of an assassin’s blade or with the burn of a killer’s bullet. Sometimes, as in the case of Ferdinand, such killings can change the destiny of the entire, sometimes the killings affect much smaller groups of people, but one of the realities of life in the spotlight is the never ending possibility of such an act.
While the mass shooting in Arizona over the weekend is unlikely to have such far reaching consequences, partially at least because the principal political figure, Rep. Gabrielle Giffords survived, the event still shows very clearly that the perils of political life are still very much omnipresent and that all politicians must be wary of their personal safety. The shooting has also brought to the surface and ongoing debate between the conservative and liberal elements of American society with such personalities as Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh becoming the focal point of attacks. While such assaults may at first glance seem merely political, it appears now 
that Limbaugh is actively being investigated for his role in the shooting which has garnered him record ratings.
“I cannot comment on specifics of the investigation because that could compromise things but I can tell you that we are investigating all possible avenues. At first it appears that it was just this one guy, Jared Lee Loughner, but we are obligated to investigate all possibilities,” said a police insider. “We looked at Palin but she has been up in Alaska shooting other things but Limbaugh, well Limbaugh was in New York at the time, which is a real state, and it is very possible that he had a hand in the events. Not directly perhaps, but in all investigations you have to look at who benefits the most.”
Limbaugh has been very vocal about the events on his daily talk show.
“The kind of rhetoric that flows from people like Rush Limbaugh, in my judgment he is irresponsible, uses partial information, sometimes wrong information, attacks people,
angers them against government, angers them against elected officials and that kind of behavior in my opinion is not without consequences,” said Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik. “The vitriol affects the personality that we are talking about. ou can say, 'Oh no, it doesn't,' but my opinion is that it does.”
Limbaugh called the Sheriff ‘a fool’ and other police institutions have also chastised Dupnik for speaking so prominently about a potential subject of the crime, but such talk has not dissuaded to the thrust of the investigation.
“The reality is Limbaugh is getting a lot, a lot, of talk out of this incident and talk is his commodity. Talk is what he sells and that makes him a potential partner in this event. While the sheriff may or may not be right about rhetoric causing unstable persons to act, the reality is this person acted and Rush Limbaugh has profited from that act, which makes him a totally valid subject of the investigation,” said Scrape TV Crime analyst Willard Weston. “He obviously didn’t pull the trigger. Realistically, he could have even fit his finger inside the trigger guard. I get that he’s lost weight but not that much. He has an alibi of course and it is really easy to buy guns without his millions of dollars, but like JFK you have to look at who benefited the most, and in this case it appears to have been Limbaugh. That alone warrants an investigation.”
Limbaugh reportedly spoke with police officials, endlessly, with no apparent rhyme or reason.
