ARIZONA INVESTIGATING SARAH PALIN’S LEGAL STATUS AFTER HOUSE PURCHASE
May 29 2011
Scottsdale, AZ – There was a time, long ago, when the United States of America was full of immigrants. Forget the early pioneers that helped carved out the New World, those immigrations paled in comparison to what was to come. It was in the 19th and

20th centuries that real immigration began in the United States with people coming from all over Europe, and the world, seeking a new life in the New World.
Some places in the country saw that immigration more than others, places like New York whose very name, and the name of her boroughs (Harlem – Haarlem, Brooklyn – Breuckelen) was brought from foreign lands. Whether they were from England, the Netherlands, Italy, or any of the dozens of countries that saw emigration to America, it was those new inhabitants upon whom the wealth and success of the country was built into what it is today. Somewhere along the line, America became full. Now the third most populated country in the world, the collection of individual states that never should have succeeded did just that beyond what anyone could have anticipated, due in large part to the foreign workforce which made her into an economic powerhouse. Now though, the trend has reversed with more workers becoming a drain on fiscal growth, prompting many states to enact legislation to protect their borders. At the forefront of that battle is Arizona which has made headlines for its immigration policies, policies which may impact legal Americans such as Sarah Palin who has recently purchased property in the state.
“We are always eager to welcome legal residents of the country into our state. Despite what people may believe we actually like visitors, we are a friendly state filled with friendly people, and we always welcome travellers and new neighbours, so long as they come here legally,” said a spokesperson for the Governor’s office. “In respect to Sarah Palin we have no official comment. We are not involved in private purchases but we do monitor applications to live in the state, and if Mrs. Palin is intending on moving here she will be subject to the same rigorous investigation as any other potential resident.”
It is expected that Palin is planning on moving to the state as a part of a plan to make a run for President in 2012.
“We have always had a very strict set of rules in Arizona, most people don’t realize that, we have simply taken action in recent years to shore up those rules and to ensure that they are enforced properly,” continued the spokesperson. “Obviously Mrs. Palin is different than most people and her case will have to be dealt with in a slightly different manner, but the rules are still applicable to her. If we receive an application to enter the state we will assess it with all due diligence.”
Palin is a native to Alaska, a state which few people in the country regard as a really a member of the union.
“Arizona has gotten a really harsh rap in recent months over the immigration issue, some of it warranted and some of it not, but the reality is they do have a significant problem in that state. There are a lot of illegal immigrants in the state and that puts a burden on its resources, something people in, say, Alaska, simply couldn’t understand,” said Scrape TV American analyst Dave Davidson. “It will be interesting to see if her application is approved quickly. I would imagine it will considering her prominence, but that would be a perversion of the process. For these things to work they need to be applied consistently and without prejudice. Granted, Palin is technically a citizen of the country but the process for entering the state should be the same as it is for everyone else, famous or not.”
Recently Mexican-born actress Salma Hayek was denied entry to the state to shoot a movie.
