CONRAD MURRAY DEFENCE GAINS STRENGTH AFTER JACKSON CHILDREN CALL HIM ‘THE BEST’

Los Angeles, CA – Every now and then an event occurs that grips the entire world. Some of those moments have obvious reasons behind their prominence, things such as the Cuban Missile Crisis or the 9/11 attacks, but others are far more nebulous, the 
reasons behind them far more difficult to understand. One of those events was the death of Michael Jackson, an event that reverberated all around the world, gaining the attention of millions, overloading internet services and gripping traditional media attention even today, more than a year and half later.
There was never any doubt that Jackson was a huge star, a global icon, but because his celebrity has fallen so precipitously in recent years, and taking into account his obviously decaying mental and physical state, few could have expected that his death would have become such a major event, yet that is exactly what happened. For one moment nearly the entire world was captivated by one event, a tragedy the likes of which happens only once in a generation. For most people that momentous period has long past with life, as it tends to do, moving on. For some though, namely the Jackson family and others directly involved with the event it is very much still alive. 
That is no more true than for two central parties in the case, Jackson’s children and his doctor, the latter of whom is currently standing trial for his death. While many assume that the end result of that trial is a foregone conclusion, new testimony from the children themselves may have turned Murray’s fate in a positive direction for the first time in a long time.
“The defence has really brought a bombshell with the children, it is something that the prosecution is having a difficult time combating for a lot of reasons,” said a trial insider. “Basically they have all said that they don’t believe Murray could have killed their father because they think he is the best doctor in the world. That is a powerful sentiment coming from the children on the deceased.”
The children have repeatedly stated their affection for Murray despite not having any kind of medical training and being children.
“Traditionally trials of this nature will take into account the will and opinion of the
family, though decisions will not be based on such testimony. Generally speaking these trials are about evidence and whichever side makes the best argument but this is not a general or normal trial, this is an exceptional case,” said Scrape TV Legal 
analyst Gabe Hawthorne. “I doubt seriously that the judge will simply call the trial because of the desires of the children. There is so much scrutiny on this case that it will probably be taken to its logical end, to the end of the case but emotional testimony from people who are well loved and well respected by the public will have an impact. Of course even the best doctor in the world could still have made a mistake.”
It’s not immediately clear who exactly is the best doctor in the world but Murray has never made such a list prior to Jackson’s death.
“Unfortunately for Murray, and for the children, I think that this trial is too big a thing to be undone by the will or desire of the people involved. This is such a big case that it will have to be played out one way or the other,” continued Hawthorne. “The issue isn’t really whether or not Murray is the greatest doctor in the world, the issue is whether or not the children’s opinion will carry any weight with the jury or the judge. That will be the real challenge for the defence.”
The children also like tiger tail ice cream, something that will likely have no impact on the trial.
